Aside from a gm disappearance, yes. Everything is all right. ^_^

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaather!

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

Well, we're pretty much just waiting here... So, take care!

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

The fly is not dead yet, according to my counts.

The paladin is obviously worried about Nareth catching some kind of disese. "He's ok, right? Do you think he's going to get any disease from those bites?"

"When we leave, we cannot return for 12 hours. Then, IF we find a door that takes us there, we're good to go. We got a healing wand. Can you please help Nareth, Lorenzo?"

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

So, still no news alientude?

Didn't manage to win that war yet?

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

Indeed that's two 1s in a row, and a 2 when being botted! Fate Hindered!

"Come, now, poor thing! I'll show you how powerless you are against us!" Indeed the clumsy flying of the bug provides easy to predict, and the dwarf has no problem on hitting it with a powerful blow! "Can someone help Nareth?"

I believe we have a Breastplate available, by the way. Alec is wearing the masterwork, but I don't think anyone took the other one.

Seeing his ally falling, again, Alec diverts his attention from the fly and brings his sword with full force on the maggot striking Nareth, slicing it in half!

Zolrak did say he would be having problems until his trip ended, and that would be on the 8th.

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

"I've got you now little bugger!" Alec swings his Longsword in a wide arc trying to get the fly, but impressively enough his skill seems to be on a vacation!

Hey, make a couple kids and you will get your sweet revenge (although you will suffer as much as them in that case).

Seriously, people who sleep that late usually wake up very very late. Check with your other neighbors (downstairs) what time do they wake up. As soon as they are up (and will not get too bothered by it), turn a freaking Harlem Shake on at top volume on your stereo, rotate your speakers up and wait until they come to complain about it.

Special advice: You can also program that on your stereo and let it make a mess while you're at work (and at a time they are sleeping).
Special advice 2: that tactic is more effective if you repeat the same song over and over, with a 15 minute interval.

If they want war, they should have it.

"Let's search the easy place first, like that door back there (Door nº 2), then we can to the hardest places. How does that sound?"

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

"I don't think that's a good idea, Lad. You have to be alive to user your powers, and there's not a single piece of armor on your body!"

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

"Eventually we will have to enter this Anthill. Where do you want to go now?"

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

"Very funny. Thanks. Through the door?"

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

The dwarf looks at his own wound. "Well, this is not much, but maybe we need to be in full strength? What do you think Lorenzo and Nareth?"

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

My bad. 9/14

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

Alec gets in the room to guarantee there are no more creatures, and begins their search. "One at a time seems not to be the problem, but two might wound us seriously."

"Poor soul." He looks sad when seeing the skeleton, but tries to move on. "We are trying to go through the doors, right? So, does anyone mind if I barricade the tunnel with a dresser?"

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

Since no one else wants to enter, Alec also goes in to search the place.

Let's do a throughout search in this room, please.

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

Congrats!

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

Alec draws his weapon immediately, but as the skeleton seems really dead he relaxes, giving the pile of bones a soft kiss with his right boot, just to be sure. "Are you serious this thing is not going to attack us?"

He gives enough room for the others to come in.

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

Hey, get better man!

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

Alientude seems to be a little away. I was expecting him to come back yesterday night but he didn't.

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

If everyone agrees, Alec will try to open the unlocked one. In case it is blocked by something he will try to burst the door open, taking 20 on a strength check for 24 total (plus aids).

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

"Easy now!" Alec shut the door and wait several seconds to guarantee the ants won't crouch under it or something like that.

If they do not come we can do as the others wanted.

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

"Good as any!"

Lorenzo, did you performed the "open but not enter" idea on the door with the warning? I thought like that, at least.

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

"Aye! Dwarvens are a little tougher than other races..." But Alec seems to be more worried with what Lorenzo is doing right now. "That was very clever, Lorenzo! I wouldn't have thought of opening but not entering... Are you a rogue perhaps?"

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

Alec clears the path to let Lorenzo push the button with his clever method.
"Lots of coins and not much value, but I guess it's better than nothing." The weapon rack will carry the bags and everything else no one wants.

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

If nothing relevant on the chest is found let's proceed through the chasm.

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

Alec will open only after everyone has taken their examination on the chest.

He also helps taking a look around it.
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

"Well, if you are a sorcerer, why don't we start with these items that we had not identified yet."

The weapon rack draws the items to be identified and handle them to you. He then asks for the Enlarge Person Potion, if no one else wants it.

"Here's what we have so far. You have a column with your name to the right, that you may use to keep track of your equipment as we progress. Also, you're late and we already passed the first floor of this dungeon. I did had a map somewhere but it seems to be hiding somewhere on my computer, I can't find it! Anything else just ask. Let's go!"

Through the door first, please.

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

Alec focus his attention on the man for a couple seconds, but then he relaxes a bit. "Alec Jadder, from... Damn! Still nothing... Welcome to our little troupe of powerless men." He waits to see how the others react.

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

"Aye, I excel at obeying orders..."

Then he looks around, seeking the said replacement.

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

So, welcome, new player!

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

Let's move through the door first, then. I mean, after checking the long hallway after Robert.

Hey Feral!

Well, it's actually 6 months, and I believe we have enough experience to be level 2 already, but we're just not wishing to return to Haven right now (and we can't, actually). We need someone to be faster than our regular speed right now.

We were very shy at the beginning, not posting our later actions and getting a very slow progress, but I believe it's increasing right now. The player who dropped certainly did not help much, but you Omen, I've played in several of your pfs pbps, and you probably bumped into Alexander somewhere on the boards.

Good luck to everyone.

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

"Oh, yes please, let's use that wand though. Then you can heal us inside the combat if need arises."
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 Are you controlling charges Lorenzo?

"So, let's proceed back to see if we find Robert, but as far as my perception goes he just vanished... Weird... Did we make a mistake?"

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

Alec was about to get into action, raising his longsword, but the warpriest soon let Nareth go. "Don't do that again, Nareth. Was that the result of a trauma or something?"

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

Alec swiftly returns to the previous room, checking after the wizard.
"Did anyone see anything?"

GP | HP 14/14 | AC 19 / T 11 / FF 18 | F +5/R +1/W +4 (+2all) | Perc +2 | Init +1 | Darkvision

Alec protects the breach while Lorenzo heals Nareth.
"Are you ok Nareth?"

After they are ready he walks for 5 feet inside the chasm, checking the path ahead for any possibility of following that way, just for the information, really. Then he realizes something.

"And where in seven stones is Robert?"

Well I'm really just looking for a more summoning orientated build. So if I did go with a Summoner it would probably be a Master summoner who uses his eidolon as a lackey (carrying things or fetching things maybe later levels as a mount.) I may just look at an infernal binding wizard instead, but the loss of available summons/spell slots would be fairly detrimental...

I believe the GM meant the background and behavior of your character should make the difference, and not the crunch.

I don't think that AoO is necessary, anyway. Please bot me for the next 60 hours or so. I'll be freaking very much overbusy.

I believe I should include a part of the original recruitment post, so you all would have an idea on what to expect and to improve your backgrounds. This is not a simple task.

GM Alientude wrote:

You're standing in a plush room with three other people. Comfortable chairs dot the room, and a roaring fire fills it with a pleasant heat. The walls are lined with bookshelves, all empty. The east wall – somehow, you know it is east – holds a large iron door. In a small niche in the western wall stands what is clearly an illusionary man dressed in robes.

How did you get here? Why are you here? Your thoughts are fuzzy. The last thing you can clearly remember is...well, nothing. Vague flashes of memory pass through your head, but no matter how you try to hold and inspect them, they slip away. All you can truly remember is your training, but even that seems incomplete. Like you once knew so much more than you do now.

The illusionary man catches your eye. He nods and twirls a finger, and a few thoughts - one might almost call them rules - enter your mind.

Rules
1) Your goal is to reclaim the power you once had.
2) Through the door lies the means to do so.
3) This room is called Haven.
4) Once you leave Haven, the door will close and you may not return for 12 hours. Attempting to do so will result in failure with extreme prejudice.
5) Each time you return to Haven, you may rest for 12 hours before you must leave.
6) Through the door lies peril in many forms. Though there may be areas that seem safe, none are guaranteed. Haven is the only secure area.
7) You must cooperate fully with the other people currently in Haven.
8) The illusionary man will trade for any items you might acquire, and can provide you access to just about any item or spellcasting service you can possibly imagine. For a price.
9) Death is a setback, not a failure.
10) Attempting to leave the test means failure.
11) You have one year to complete the test.
So, this should be an interesting experience. The characters in this game were once level 20 and are attempting to become gods by passing the Test of the Starstone. The test in this case is to be reverted to level 1, dumped in an inescapable dungeon, and live to level 20 again. This is meant to be a pure dungeon delve, with some…interesting twists. *cue evil GM laughter*

Mythic adventures and the Automatic Bonus Progression from Unchained are two systems that I've been wanting to try for a long time now and I'm going to be GMing a new campaign in a couple of weeks and want to try using both systems.
So what I want to know is if anyone here has tried using them together and what your experience was like or if anyone has any advice about running a game with those systems.

This week my group is going to start a new campaign and I will play a skald and my friend will play a necromancer cleric so I need to know, does the raging song affect unintelligent undead like the ones created by the animate dead spell?
