Background

Spoiler:

I grew up in the north side of Impiltur in a devout family of farmers. There was regular trading with neighboring countries, and I accompanied his father in some of these journies. Notably, the trademeet in Narfell is where I got to ride some of his first horses and started his love for the magnificient beasts.

Growing up, religion was very important to my whole family. I took an early interest and showed good aptitude. My parents saw this as a divine sign and supported my work in the church, even when my sibings saw it as skirting my chores on the farm.

By the time I was knighted into the Order of the Aster, my whole family saw this as an honor for the whole family. Now I'm on my first quest as a new member of the Order. As simple as it seems, I've been asked to see the world. I'm to travel away from my homeland and comfortable surroundings and help those who come to me for help, and offer my help to those who don't or can't ask. In doing this I will see things that I could never have seen in the surroundings of home that I know so well. Lathander will bless me with the use he has in mind over the course of this trip, and I am to continue this journey until that blessing has arrived.

I hope the blessings and honor that my family and church have given me are well placed.
