I believe all these events call for a prayer.

Our great lord Aroden, hallowed be thy name.

As we embark on this journey take notice of how we are as those who have come before us; but more importantly, praise us for how we too are different.

We walk this path for the betterment of ourselves, and through that, the betterment of others.

We leave today to better learn one of your tenets; unity.


That we are only as strong as the bonds we make; and our own individual strength pales in comparison to that which we can accomplish together.

Please oversee and bless us on this pilgrimage. Keep us safe from those who mean us ill, and grant us the strength of body and mind to do the tasks that ought to be done. I am ever your faithful.

Ah'Mera had been laying in her bedroll trying to avoid having to get up. She was never much of a morning person.

But when she heard the mayor she knew she had run out of time to be lazy.

Sitting up and stretching out her arms she addresses the others,

"Good morning everyone, I was hoping to have a bit of a lie in but I guess that idea is shot now."

Ah'Mera was anxious to get started; she was grateful for Wisslo's training which undoubtedly allowed her to hit her mark in archery. Thankful for her inheriting her mother's intellect for the puzzles, and she would very much like to forget the ordeal with the pig and wasn't thankful to anyone for that experience.

Looking around the room she saw some faces who were in some ways as much of an outcast as she was, perhaps even more so as she watched Essa. Awaiting the Vardigan's response should they prove rude.

Bonus Feat Humans select one extra feat at 1st level.

Bonus Feats At 1st level, and at every even level thereafter, a fighter gains a bonus feat in addition to those gained from normal advancement (meaning that the fighter gains a feat at every level). These bonus feats must be selected from those listed as combat feats, sometimes also called "fighter bonus feats." Upon reaching 4th level, and every four levels thereafter (8th, 12th, and so on), a fighter can choose to learn a new bonus feat in place of a bonus feat he has already learned. In effect, the fighter loses the bonus feat in exchange for the new one. The old feat cannot be one that was used as a prerequisite for another feat, prestige class, or other ability. A fighter can only change one feat at any given level and must choose whether or not to swap the feat at the time he gains a new bonus feat for the level.

Skilled Humans gain an additional skill rank at first level and one additional rank whenever they gain a level.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency A fighter is proficient with all simple and martial weapons and with all armor (heavy, medium, and light) and shields (including tower shields).
