I perseverated over this build for a long time. Gestalt can be tricky in that a lot of viable builds feel like wearing a second pair of pants on top of the first. I think this one meshes nicely though so it feels like a single, expanded class.

I hear you. Either you have two classes that only complement each other, or you end up overspecializing. Both are very helpful and viable builds, but just don't feel as satisfying as what you said.

Adonis picks the girl up with easy and carries her gently to a sofa/chair in the reception office. "Everything's fine. The monster's dealt with." He caresses her as to ease her, but was also patting her down.

"Now tell me. How did the monster get in here? What did you see?"

"Let me take care of her." Adonis gently shoves the others away and places his right palm on her hip.

Adonis follows the others and agrees that they need to put the construct down. But he has inspiring words for them first.

He then assumes a defensive position swift action +4 AC

I would be OK, with the GM rolling initiative for everyone. Then he can go on with a potential first post.

I like Google Slides most, but have used anything before. I am against Roll20 as that does not work from phone.

Adonis identifies the creature and jumps to the unconscious woman. He feels her pulse...

"Don't be so hard on her. It wasn't her fault. I am a hard man to find and to convince. Blame me if anyone." Adonis reponded to the dwarfen assistant.

With the explosion, he turns to the hall immediately. Casting a divine spell in the progress reflexively.
"What's down there?" He shouts at the woman. "we need to check if someone's hurt!"

Much later than you would have wanted, the woman that invited you pops in with another newcomer. She looks rather disheveled and less the sharp dressed lady that invited you.

Next to her stands a muscular elf of unknown age. Probably very old, but young in elven terms. He carries a small bag and wears nothing but a very shiny kilt and some jewelry.

"Good afternoon, gentleman. I am Adonis. You probably have heard of me." He's not awaiting an answer, it was more rhetorical. He seems very self-confident in this assumption. "I am hear to help you go through the maze."
He bows very courtly at each one of you, and you have the feeling of someone very noble, except for the fact that he looks more like a wrestler.

Adonis rose slowly from under his silk linens, when the door knocked. "Come on in", he answered loudly, but still half sleeping.

He was startled, when the sharply dressed woman suddenly stood in his room holding a letter. Shamelessly he got out of his bed and walked towards her, enjoying her slight shifting uncomfortably. His maginificient elven body, nothing covered, stood now in front of her. He was looking down on her, smiling friendly. He stood there just a moment longer than necessary before he spoke again.

"The headmaster you say..." he said when recieving the letter. He quickly read it and then continued. "Well, that sounds like quite a challenge, but doable, I'm sure.
So, with your scroll, we could go there immediately, you say. But we don't have to, right? I'm sure there's enough time for getting to know each other and maybe breakfast."
The naked Adonis made a courtly bow and reached for her hand as to kiss her formally. "I am Adonis, and what's yours, if I may ask?"

I have reached out to our bloodrager friend and he should be popping by to post shortly. Are you guys ready for me to start things off?

Then I'm gonna cast my own Greater Magic Weapon. Because a) for me it is cheaper than an amulet of mighty fists and b) can free the neck slot

In fact, I was going to propose that to everyone. Also for other buff spells, you think you can use.

I would love to take you on that offer for Greater Magic Weapon, too, but noone else but me can use that. It'd be still a wasted slot, even with a pearl, as you can't use it for something else, unless you can spontaneously convert it like a cleric or druid...

my build is finished. I changed from Paladin to Paladin VMC Bard.
it's a good trade-off and fits the backstory even better

@Fantomas
will you be using Mage Armor? If so, I'll give you one of my 1st level pearls of power, so that you can cast it on me, too, once per day. Your CL 13th is certainly better than using a wand with ony 1 hour duration.

I think this means something different. It's an all or nothing situation. Either roll all dice, or take average for all dice. which is 12 x 4.5

Fantomas and Adonis please include links to all the spells you know in your alies, it makes my job easier when I can just click a link to see what a spell does.

search on archives of nethys, https://aonprd.com/Search.aspx , choose magic items only, and use the phrase "resistance bonus on all saving throws" will give several non-shoulder slot hits...

but are you real sure about that - a Monk's Robe occupies the body slot, not the shoulder slot.

lol, you're right. Problem solved. Just need to get the OK on the monk's robe.

on Fighter drop-out:
that bloodrager submission is probably the next best thing to a second frontliner?!

on condition removal:
I'll pick the mercies against Sickened, Diseased and Poisoned.
on a downtime day I can prepare Restoration and lesser Restoration as well as Remove Paralysis, Remove Blindness/Deafness and Remove Curse. I'll also carry a scroll of each for emergencies.

on healing:
With Bracers of the Merciful Knight I can heal 112d6 a day. And theoretically twice that if everything was converted into channel energy and it hits and affects everyone.

on party friendly spells:
once per day I have Good Hope, Invisibility Purge and Plane Shift.
I'm hoping the Wizard has Haste and maybe Enlarge :)

Would a monk's robe up the Iroran Paladin's Unarmed Strike damage? Because RAW I'm not a monk, but I have the monk's Unarmed Strike class feature.

Does anyone know an alternative way to get some resistance bonuses (+2 - +3) other than cloak of resistance? Because shoulder slot might be occupied by said monk's robe. I'd get a Sihedron Ring, but that's technically a very AP specific item. The Amber Spindle Ioun Stone is pretty expensive...

To be honest, I did it once, too. But that was, because
I got accepted in two games at the same day.

I have three mercies for condition removal. Just need to pick some.
