So can we both ask a question, or just one of us (as with the spell)? If we are both allowed to use the ability, maybe both of us should go to the embassy with the body. Otherwise, one of us can go and the other can go to the hostel or someplace else.

I didn't want to ask something like what she stole or who she was working for, since it might turn out she wasn't stealing, and the story was made up. "Who killed you" or "why were you killed" is more likely to be useful, assuming she knows the answers.
Also, we only have a day to question the body, so waiting a week won't help.

Abunan is lost in thought while reading Jace's assessment. I assume it was written? When he reaches the tenth point on the list, he suddenly realizes how time-sensitive the matter was. "I think at least one of us should go immediately to the House of Blue Birds. Someone there is directly connected, perhaps even complicit in the murder, and we should find him before he slips out."

On speaking with dead: I'm waiting to determine which question we want to ask.

A young-looking eladrin sits in the office with his folder in hand. He looks up when Stover Delft enters. "Good morning," he says, as he always does. He sits up straight and listens attentively to the announcement.

"Poor lady," Abunan comments, shaking his head in pity. "'Gale' has been sabotaging factories. There weren't any factories in the area that this woman might have been intending to sabotage, were there?"

I'm not asking this in-character, since we've apparently been working on this for a while, but are we sure that Gale is one woman and not a few different women?

He is a worshiper of all the gods, and they all grant him a small measure of their power.

He views the temples as the most important venue of diplomacy - between the various gods - but he also tries to resolve the differences between the different factions of the city, and of course, he has ambitions to mediate between the two empires that surround his city. He is always eager to form alliances, with both gods and mortals.

Plans for the character mechanically: Abunan will take the Spirit Guide archetype at level 3, which allows him to form temporary bonds like a shaman, representing the many gods with whom he forms alliances. Abunan would most likely take the time mystery, though this could be flexible (considering the backstory). He would probably be built for ranged combat.

Plans for the character’s own story: Abunan would like to be able to aid in the effort to make peace and avoid a war. In addition, he would like to visit the temples of other locations and learn their viewpoints on the diplomatic tensions and other matters. One day he would like to learn more about the four elemental spirits that he knows about from the famous myths.
