So my party could could be potentially going against the lizard folk in their next session and prepping for the encounter I notice that Vesket, lizard king is listed as a N. for alignment. Now from reading the encounter it seems he could realistically still be reasoned with but at no point does the game give any real insight into how to play that version of the encounter out; it seems that the encounter is designed to be played out as more of a "convince the tribe to go against the king and fake god" scenario and doesn't really offer any suggested "Point out the emperor's new clothes" advice.

My party has been playing very diplomatic, so I assume they'll try and reason with Vesket which seems based on his build doable.
Any suggestions on how to run that since the book doesn't really offer any?

Follow up and afterthought: does anyone know of any good Lizard man NPC's I could borrow as a potential leader to the tribe, if they are forced to get rid of Vesekt.

I recently built a home brew adventure for my group and it went really well and we all had a great time. Recently, my group expressed some interest in learning Shadowrun (5th ed). After spending a week trying to learn the game, I shot the idea down. It was the most miserable experience I've had in a long time trying to learn a game system. That being said I actually like the ideas of Shadowrun, specifically the idea of being runners. the whole game may as well be Heist movie: the game. So, as a result I want to build what would essentially be Heist movie: the Pathfinder game. This is what I'm coming here for.

I have a basic idea so far for setting, game outline and the initial heist, a daring midnight airship robbery for a mcguffin. The party gets betrayed afterwards by the employer. From that point the game would basically be an episodic heist tv show where the party would do various heists while at the same time uncovering why they were betrayed and a way for them to get revenge.

I did this episodic style of story telling in my last game, which was basically a series of adventures loosely based around classic western movies and it did really well. It allowed players to miss sessions without missing out too much on the story.

What I'm looking for help with is basically people to help shoot ideas off of to build the various heists and as well as setting ideas npc character ideas. Thanks in advance.

Ps I'm thinking of gathering a second group of players and doing a side by side game as the investigators who are going after the main party. I haven't really fleshed out the idea at all yet.

Back in August, like a nubmer of you, I attended gencon. At gencon, I played in three PFS games.

Of those three only one has been reported onto my characters PFS session page. Now my memory isn't that good, so I can't remember the 2 quests that havent been reported yet and I definitely dont remember the DMs that ran them.

Is there any way or means of finding out this information or getting it properly reported?

I have friends who played in the adventures with me and can find out if theirs were ever reported.

So I consider my self a pretty decent DM, not great but I manage on my own. I'm currently running a Skull and Shackles quest, five member party.
We just started part 2 of the second book. Now, I consider my self pretty good when it comes to improv, I like to let my party do whatever they want and I'll react just fine to the situation.

That being said- I really want to start incorporating the rumors in the back of each adventure book. my one real down fall as a DM is that I'm not so great when the book just gives me some minor info on the little mini-quest and expects me to fill in all the blanks.

Can anyone here help provide me with some ideas in order to run those little quests at the back? I'd be real appreciative and would be more than willing to trade some of the made up stuff I put together that my group has done so far.

So, I just recently played in my first PFS the other day. I was unaware at the time that I had already made a PFS character so I made a new one, an Oread Summoner. I really like the character and want to continue playing as him, but if I'm reading the rules correctly I need a "boon" to do so and the only place I can get one is at a con like Gencon, which I wont be able to attend. I really like this character I made and would like to continue on with him. is there anyway at all to get a boon to play as an Oread or am I SOL and just have to remake the character.
