Hi guys. This order (last month's Pathfinder) has been stuck as "Pending" for about a month. The original problem was the credit card I had on file - I got a new one, so the old one was no longer any good. At any rate, I corrected my credit card information at least three weeks ago, and the order is still pending. Can someone re-check the order and push it through? Thanks.
Hi guys, I realize that I may be *very* late in asking about this, but I'm wondering whether I might be still be able to return this product (D&D 4e core rulebooks set). I purchased the books last summer, inquired about returning them, and then completely forgot to send them back. Just re-located them (still in their shipping box) while cleaning out a closet. The books are undamaged and still in their original shrinkwrap. Of course, I understand if the long delay time preculdes a return, or if there's since been a price change and you can't offer me the full value that I originally paid. Thanks.
Hi guys, A few weeks back I posted an e-mail indicating that I hadn't received Pathfinder #10 yet, and Pathfinder #11 indicated that it was about to ship to my old address, despite the fact that I updated my shipping address way back in May. Your reply message indicated that you would re-send Pathfinder #10 with #11, and that they would both go to my new address (in Brooklyn, NY). I can see that I now have a "sidecart" saying that Pathfinder #11 is waiting to be shipped, but there's no reference to Pathfinder #10, and we're almost at the end of July. Can you let me know when I can expect the two issues to ship? I've contented myself with the pdf versions thus far, but really hope that we can clear this up, lest I receive the dreaded message next week that Pathfinder #12 is also about to ship to my old address. Sorry to be a pain - I just really look forward to getting the hardcopies. And thanks, as always, for your help!
Haven't played in a while, but I'm surprised you guys decided to go for a non-PvP realm. Getting "ganked" is certainly no fun, but traveling through opposing or contested territory, knowing that you've got to look out for actual players from the opposing faction, adds excitement like nothing else. And organizing a band of friends to raid the territory of the opposing faction is a blast - good for a change of pace after running dungeon after dungeon. I've got a Night Elf Hunter (53, I think) on one of the PvP realms, but would be happy to join you guys on a new server with a new character. Please, though, consider a PvP realm - they're not so bad! I swear!
To do it right would be a big project, but I think AoW could be great on NWN 2, especially in multiplayer with 4 real players and a DM. I just bought the game, and haven't looked at the toolset much. Is there enough flexibility to create the many specialized monsters in the AP (the various Kyuss creatures, etc.)?
**Averting eyes from other posts** Have loved reading the AoW obituary posts, but have had to avoid reading the ST thread for fear of spoilers, since I'm a player in this campaign. Still, I couldn't help but post this "near obituary" from my group, involving, of course, my PC... PC: Kith-Kiran (aquatic half-elf warblade 1)
Our party had just fought off a total of four of the uber zombies in a large room beneath Parrot island, resulting in no PC deaths but some significant injuries to Kith-Kiran. Anticipating another zombie fight soon (moans could be heard beyond a set of doors that the party had barred shut), Kith asked Kane (living construct barbarian 0/cleric 0 (Fharlanghn)) for some healing, saying "I'm not normally the praying sort, but I'd take a blessing from Iuz if it'd do something for these wounds." Fharlanghn must not have been pleased, because Kane rolled a "1" on his CLW roll, which obviously did very little for Kith's wounds. In the subsequent fight against 2 more of the zombies, Fahrlanghn seemed to be angry with Kane for even having attempted to heal Kith - the big construct couldn't score a hit to save his life. Or, as it nearly turned out, Kith's life! Although the party dispatched one of the zombies relatively quickly, the second one managed a critical hit on the blasphemous half-elf, nearly tearing his throat out, and leaving the warblade at -9 hp. Fortunately, Sam Goodfyne (halfling rogue 1), who was at 0 hp, stumbled over to Kith's bleeding body and used his last efforts to make a heal check (a natural 20), stabilizing the warblade just before he fell unconscious. Clearly, Fahrlanghn was trying to teach Kith a lesson: he allowed just enough healing to keep the half-elf alive in the zombie battle, while delivering enough of a scare to keep him from ever again equating a blessing from the Watcher on the Horizon with one from a half-demon demigod!

Fantastic news, James. Having seen the madness on the messageboards regarding the Savage Tide player's guide & supplemental materials, I didn't want to add a whiny post of my own about not having heard from Tyralandi in a while. That said, I've been eagerly waiting to hear where her travels have taken her. Glad to hear that life is giving you a bit of a break.
Just read the post (in another thread) that says many copies headed for New York were incinerated in a postal truck accident. Guess this explains why I haven't seen Dungeon 139 in any of the bookstores I've been in during the past few weeks. Quick question: if I start a subscription now, will it begin with #139, or the next issue??
Question: We've already generated characters for our STAP campaign, and I'm playing a half-aquatic elf warblade with several ranks of profession (sailor). Have I violated the ultimate taboo? Is my character, in effect, a multiclassed pirate/ninja?!? If so, please post advice on roleplaying with appropriate "pirate-ninja" flair. Should my character enjoy sea chanties or meditating under mountain waterfalls? the cutlass or the katana?? grog or sushi??? Ow, my head hurts! (or should that be, "ARRRR! Me head hurts?!?")
We're in the midst of rolling characters for our Savage Tide PBEM campaign. There's still the potential for some changes at this point, since we won't be starting for a few weeks, but right now we have: Female Rilkan Bard
Our game is based in Greyhawk, but the DM is allowing the "warforged" PC as a unique race for the purposes of this campaign - the character in question was found in a shipwreck, seemingly constructed out of the debris around him, and the player has written an interesting background that suggests that Fahrlanghn may have something to do with the character's mysterious "birth." If anyone's interested, I'll look into posting the character backgrounds that have been written so far.

Medium speed game (able to post most days out of the week) currently at 8th level. Thanks! I'd be more than happy to be an arcane caster - I've never had the chance to play a sorcerer, and have always wanted to try. Please send some specifics to my e-mail address: mggurgel@homtail.com
Because of the obligations of time/work/moving/life I haven't had the chance to play in a campaign in several years, but I really enjoyed a play by e-mail campaign that was run by a friend of mine a few years back. We only made it through 2 adventures before the demands of life broke up the campaign (and in the middle of a cliffhanger involving my character!) but the quality of roleplaying was great, and everyone had a good time. Unfortunately, I've read too much of the AoW material (fantastic stuff) to volunteer to play in an AoW campaign, but I've heard great things about The Shackled City. Is anybody contemplating a PBEM campaign that I could join? If you're already running a campaign and have room for another character to join at mid-level, I'd love that too... |
