![]() The title says it all. I've played a great many games and a great many characters. I'm looking for a stable group hoping to share in a good story. I live in Valrico, but I can travel to Brandon or Tampa. My previous group didn't work anymore cause I work on their game nights (Sun, Wed, and Fridays). Looking to playing again. ![]()
![]() How would you do it? Think Teclis from Warhammer or Elminster, Khelben Blackstaff, and Vandergast from D&D. They don't have overwhelming god smoting power (though fans might disagree). But they have the wit and skill to stay ahead of their foes. Now, they do have the writer on their side and they don't have to worry about 1's rolling up. But even Elminster was a PC once. How do you go about playing the Man with the Plan. Especially when you're playing a Wizard? ![]()
![]() So a friend is rolling up (20 point build actually)character with me. He wants to make up a mean mofo (ala Belmont from Lords of Shadows) I told him Scorpion whip would be the way to go. But we're not sure who would be the best user: Fighter, Pally, Magus or Inquisitor? I say Inquisitor. Any thoughts on this? It looks like we're going to be running in the Carrion Crown module, so any help would be great. PF books only. Thanks! ![]()
![]() I'm trying to make an NPC that will open a school that will do as do as the title implies: Blending casting with Firearms. With that in mind? How can I do it in such a way that the PCs (or myself should I when I play) would seriously consider it a viable action? Magus (Myrmidarch)? Wizard with Item Bond, Firearms? Thoughts would be appreciated. ![]()
![]() Okay. I need help deciding whats more effective over all (short and long term). Cavalier (Cocktrice)w/ Bard (Arcane Duelist) with the goal of Battle Herald OR! Cavalier with Magus? I've already got 2 levels of Cav under the belt and the GM is gracious enough to allow me to swap CHA and Int around once I decide. Thoughts? ![]()
![]() So I was going to make a monk for the group. However, they already have a ninja, samurai, rogue, cleric. Now they need a heavy hitter and probably an arcane caster. What to play? I was thinking, Cavelier, Bard or Magus. Or combine two of. THoughts? I'm thinking Bard/Cav (Cockatrice) would work OR! Arcane Duelist/Magus. It's 20 point buy, PF books only. Thanks! ![]()
![]() Okay. I remember seeing something about this on a 3.5 wiki. But I'm wondering on how you would do for PF (and PF books/info only). I'm thinking Magic Missle Magister:

Thoughts after this point? I think Toppling Spell would be good for a meta magic feat as well as quick spell. But what else? ![]()
![]() Conceptual Background:
Imagine if you will, the hero as he/she lifts their maul and begins twirling it about their frame. Slowly walking into the battle, each swinging arc bring death and destruction. The momentum of our hero's weapon smashes down those foolish enough to get with in the Maul's deceptive range. Notice how an enemy archer fires an arrow hoping to bring down this avatar of death, only to see his arrow smacked aside. Our hero seems god-like; untouchable. An awesome titan of war. Then a man steps on to the battleground unfazed by the display. Pulling out a scroll he reads: COLOR SPRAY. Our hero falls. ;) Can you help with this concept build? I'm looking at feat/skill choice builds. Thanks! ![]()
![]() Okay. Starting in a new group and they need healing, but not so much that I end up being a band aid. And thier fighters arent always there. So after kicking around a few ideas. I settled for a Cleric/Monk of Sarenrae. I think I have everything locked down except for feats. Sooo, much help would be appreciated. Weapon Adept Monk 2/ Cleric 3 Feats I would like to use
I'm going to run him tonight, so thanks for whatever advice given. ![]()
![]() Hello. First I know I'm going to catch fleck for making a caster multi-class. But I think Im on to something here. The idea is to have something of a Good Touch Cleric who ends the fight before it starts. 20 Point buy, no negative stats. I think Im close I just need to tighten something up or let something go for right now. Thanks for helping! Medicinal Monk: CR 4

![]() Okay. So I may start playing in a weekly session. The group seems flexible enough But I'm having a hard time deciding on what to play. So far in the group: Sorc, Witch,Dwarf Druid, Fighter/rogue and Fighter. They talked about the lack of healing, but Im not sure if I'm up to be somneone's band aid. But then again... So thoughts? ![]()
![]() I'm trying to build a Human Taldan Monk. I'm looking at Flowing Monk/Master of Many Styles. The 2 styles I'm looking at are Panther and Tiger. Can someone help with the best choice of feats for each level? I'm thinking I should add dodge and mobility to the mix as well. But, it already adds to a feat thirsty concept. Thanks! ![]()
![]() Heya. So coming off another thread I decided I wanted to make an Gnome Arcane caster, with spells where I don't have to roll. Character wise, he's a caster who is obsessed with extra-dimensional spaces and 'making things look bigger on the inside'. Anyone have anything for a 25 point buy? And should I go with Wizard or Sorcerer? ![]()
![]() In the world of random, if you need someone to botch a roll at the worst possible time? That's probably me. Which really doesn't work since I'm usually the one with the plan or trying the riskiest move. That being said, what class would have me rolling dice the least? I was thinking Bard or Wizard? But maybe I'm not looking at the right place. |
