However if the polymorphed arcanist has taken care of the pesky matter of spell components, IT can then cast empowered spells it's own.
Is there errata specifically pointing out secondary effects? I don't see it in the Metamagic feat overview, Maximize's Description, nor the Maximize Rod's description.
