Yesterday morning, I ordered the PDF for both the Core and Bestiary books. The core book as been added to my downloads, but no bestiary. But when I look on order history, it does say the Bestiary is on my downloads.

I'm having similar issues with hard copy products.

Same, new UC lite downloaded. but problems with the GMG here.

Same problem here. Trying to download the updated corebook, and the page just keeps reloading and no download.

Question: With Pathfinder being backwards-compatible, why not use your favorite 3.x rule?
Sometimes I do. But the topic at hand is "Things you preferred in 3.5", not "Do you use house rules in PFRPG?"

I found Hogarth's reply intriguing. Paizo has touted the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game to be backwards-compatible with the 3.x rules so folks can continue to use, and enjoy, their enormous libraries unabated. I considered that a feature of the rules, and point it out to naysayers.

But as Pathfinder enters its second year and the 3.x rules are a fading memory, is that once vaunted feature passe? I can understand why one can't use 3.x rules in Open Play ala the Pathfinder Society. That makes sense. Is it time to put 3.x books once and for all in storage (I'm reconsidering selling/trading mine), occasionally to take out as inspiration for houserules or to reminisce about "those old days" that some folks get about pre-3.x rules?

Thoughts?

Personally, I'm glad it's a feature of the system. Particularly for simplicity of conversion of adventures. But for the most part, I like Pathfinder on its own, especially with the APG, and all the variations it provides to the system.

What days/times do you play? I'm a semi-local, but also a stay-at-home dad, so I'm pretty much an evening/weekend gamer.

Also, is this Pathfinder, 3.5 or 4e converted?

Hey Matt,

We're playing Pathfinder, on the weekends, next time we are going to meet in the Aug 8th. We usually play from 1 - 6.

Is there any truth to the rumor that they're renaming it Tebowville?

(not snark, I grew up there).

It's possible, but not until they get his bronze statue. (Which they are working on by the way).

Hey, new to the boards. We just started the RotR AP this past weekend, but are looking to add another player or two to our group. Currently we have a GM and three players (a rogue, monk and sorcerer). If anyone is in the area and is interested in joining in, let me know.

About Xuè Lèi

"Sure, I'm just a kid. But this, this is a Heckler and Koch MP5. It has a capacity of thirty rounds. By my count, that's twenty nine more than I need to kill your sorry ass. Hell, probably thirty more, if I'm being honest."

Both Guns Blazing
Fire two guns simultaneously at your opponent; these must be handguns or otherwise outfitted with pistol grips. Treat as one attack at Guns -1, with the Damage of both guns added together, and the opponent's Toughness doubled.

Carnival of Carnage
Add +2 Guns vs, mooks. Subtract 1 from the shot cost of any attack on a mook or mooks. Minimum shot cost remains 1.

Heroic Bloodshed
In the climactic fight of an adventure, any attack that deals you more than 4 Wound Points deals an additional 3 Wound Points.

Wealth Rich

Xuè Lèi was born of a forbidden union between Tián Huā of the Hong Kong Triad and the mysterious Yè Hú, or Night Fox, a vigilante dedicated to taking the Triad down. Raised from birth to be the perfect ruthless killer by the Triad, Xuè Lèi knew neither father nor mother except for the leather strap of the Triad's discipline.

Now, at barely fourteen years of age, Xuè Lèi has discovered the tragic end to his mother's saga. The Triad identified Night Fox as the boy's father and executed Tián Huā for her betrayal.

Xuè Lèi cannot abide the Triad's murder of his mother. He must show his father he is worthy of his true legacy by dismantling the Triad- one bullet at a time.
