Has anyone used the Dragon Warriors setting (Lands of Legend) for a Pathfinder campaign? I am beginning to do just that and was wondering what experiences others may have had. It is an old setting and I realize that many may not have seen it. Lands of Legend is very rich in flavor and looks like an awesome world in which to play.
I hope the people at Paizo (the BEST RPG company in the business) have paid attention to the most prevalent complaint about the Core Rule Book: the fact that it is so big that it falls apart. How about making a high-quality binding option for those who want one? I'm not talking about one so fancy that you don't want to use it...like the deluxe Runelords release. I mean something along the lines of what Kenzer Co. did for the new Hackmaster rules. Check it out....HM PHB is easily the most beautiful and toughest RPG book ever published. Pathfinder deserves no less!
Anyone within driving distance of Redlands, CA, play or used to play Runequest? I used to play the original edition from Chaosium and then the Avalon Hill version, and I am now looking to start playing once more. (Am seriously considering shelling out the big bucks for the new RQ 6e!) "The people of Greyhawk thank you for your service." Dan
I'm writing a one-shot adventure and am looking for an intelligent monster for the big baddy. She must be able to drain the life source from someone and in turn receive youth from that life source. Is there any Pathfinder monster like that? I have been unable to locate one. (I'm kinda new to this, if you couldn't tell!) Level is open at this point. Thanks for your help. Dan
Hi. I have posted before without any success...so here I go again! I am 42, married with a family and a busy schedule, but I would love to squeeze in a regular Pathfinder game. I am new to the game in that I have yet to actually play it, though I played 3e long ago and older versions before that. I have played a couple of sessions of 4e and greatly enjoyed it, but I want to dig deep into Pathfinder as my game of choice. Hope to hear from someone...anyone...soon :) Homebrew setting or Golarion is fine with me. Thanks.
I am 42, married and work, so my schedule is full, but I am looking to fit in a bi-weekly Pathfinder game. I am returning to gaming after a long absence, and 4e has left me disappointed. I missed the whole 3.0 and 3.5 era, so I picked up Pathfinder to see what I missed...and I love the game! Initially I would like to play, and eventually I will probably run a game of my own. I am willing to drive a reasonable distance from Redlands. Hope to hear from you soon. Dan
I am looking to possibly join a Pathfinder game in the Inland Empire area of California. I live in Redlands. Although I have been in the RPG hobby for many years, I am new to Pathfinder. I have all the books but have never played or GMed PFRPG. Something like a bi-weekly game would work best. I would like to begin as a player, but eventually I would like to try my hand at running a game. Thanks. Dan |
