Hi there, new GM who has played only a little of 1e and 2e a piece. My party recently leveled from 1 to 2, and my war priest cleric of Irori wants to multiclass into a monk. Now, that is fine in theory, and additionally she has a super cool concept for her character: however, I am really not a fan of the 2e multiclassing. It seems so pointless to me; like you’re wasting valuable class feats while simultaneously only being allowed to use the Lite version of the class you want to dabble in. Ergo, I decided to use 1e rules (this is a home brew so I’m not breaking any laws). Is there any advice the more experienced GMs can give me as to how to go about this effectively?

Hello, new Monk player here. So, in the 1st level monk feats, it has multiple stances, but it also has Monastic Weaponry. In the Monastic Weaponry feat, it states that you can use Monk weapons as “unarmed strikes” when called for. I understand this is meant to apply to Ki-related attacks and Flurry of Blows, but could you possibly use monk weapons for Stance-exclusive strikes? Obviously not Crane Stance or Mountain Stance, since those specifically state that you can’t do that. But could you use monk weapons for, say, the Tiger Stance strike?
