I'm seeing High Seas being gone, though I also have the Nova Rush Flip-Mat showing up again for the upcoming order. I did have some issues with my June subscriptions and had to get some things tweaked by CS, so this could just be something specific to me.

Many of the spells from the APG were included in the Player Core or Player Core 2 in the remaster. The Remastered Arcane, Divine, Focus, Primal and Occult sets already include the spells from both PC and PC2. As far as I can tell, (of the APG spells,) it's only the ones that haven't been remastered at all that are stuck back in the APG spell card pack.

I'm going to hold out hope that we get an Impossible Magic spell pack, I'm not aware of any future announced accessories at all (which is a bit concerning).

Personally, I'm also hoping for Monster Core 2 Battle Cards. I thought they were already out, so I spent quite some time looking for where I put my copy before checking and seeing that the product doesn't exist yet.

That's something I find incredibly annoying. When sites have "scheduled maintenance" pages as the default "site's not working" page, they're effectively just lying to users.

I had my finger on the flag button, but I held off initially as I wasn't sure. It matches one of the formats of the spam posts, being some Pathfinder or TTRPG question or answer generated around a link to make it seem seamless.

Looking at it more now, I'm sure it's spam. I clicked on the suspicious link (I know I shouldn't), and at first the website looks legit, but then there's a dropdown to a bunch of sketchy online gambling, which seems to be the main point of the site.

Also, I did a quick search for this market, and only a few results come up, and one of them was a post from a day earlier with similar text: https://community.ricksteves.com/travel-forum/netherlands/off-the-beaten-pa th-visiting-the-giant-zwarte-markt-in-slagharen (this link is displaying for me on the forum as having a space in the middle of "path", but it's not there in the edit box) :

I’m currently planning a road trip through the eastern provinces of the Netherlands for later this year. I really want to experience some unique local culture and hidden gems away from the usual Amsterdam tourist track. I’m a big fan of flea markets and vintage hunting, and I recently came across the website for a massive indoor market in the region: https://zwartemarktslagharen.nl/ It looks huge and seems like a fascinating glimpse into local life, but I haven't found much mention of it in standard travel guides. Has anyone here ever visited this specific market while traveling through the area? Is it worth a detour for someone who loves thrifting and antiquing? Also, if you have any recommendations for other small towns, historic stops, or scenic spots to check out nearby in the Overijssel region, I would love to hear them!

I also can't match the address to a building that would hold a "sprawling indoor market". The closest I get in Maps is a town over from the given town, on a little street with small buildings and a church.

Forgive my ignorance, but where can I check the shipping methods available and the option selected on the new store?

For the available methods, you can create a cart and go to the checkout page. If your cart contents roughly matches the subscription items, the shipping prices should be roughly in line with the actual subscription shipping.

For the method chosen for subscriptions, I believe that it should always be the cheapest of the ones available (when things are working correctly). I don't think that the shipping method shows up on the order page until the items are actually shipped. However, if you click the "Print Invoice" button, it'll generate an invoice showing the actual shipping method used, even before fulfillment.

As an extra bug to pass along to the Paizo team, it seems that shipping methods showing up for past order aren't correct. Mine show Australia Post, even though it's correctly showing as DHL Express Worldwide for the tracking link (and it's going to Canada, not Australia):

Quote:

Date Shipped:

Mar 17th 2026

Shipping Method:
Australia Post

Tracking Link:
<shipping number removed> — DHL Express® (Express Worldwide)

Is Australia Post maybe the first shipping method alphabetically in some list?

So the cheaper option wasn't available when they generated the subscriptions but is now back as an option, that's not sketchy at all...

From what Maya added above, it seems like some subscription orders incorrectly used a more expensive shipping method. You may have missed their post, since you had posted right about the same time they did, but:

Maya Coleman wrote:
We identified an issue with a handful of sub orders automatically using a high-cost ship method. We are fixing them all now to be the most affordable option and will be issuing refunds to affected customers automatically. The team will also be emailing affected customers.

My issue was specifically regarding the fact that DHL Express Worldwide was completely gone for some period of time (at least about a week). The last time I can be sure to have checked which shipping options were available (to my location) was the morning of this past Friday (at least based off the cadence of the 10% discount nudge emails that I got each time I checked).

Being on the outside, I don't know whether the lack of DHL and the system choosing the wrong shipping method were related. I didn't have a chance of getting hit with the extra-high shipping fees because I had already skipped my subscriptions this month after noticing that DHL was gone.

Unless it became a pattern (which seems extraordinarily unlikely), I wouldn't attribute this to malice, just some system issue. But I do hope that any future significant changes to shipping costs will be announced over email ahead of time!

Pathfinder Adventure, Maps, Pathfinder Accessories, Rulebook Subscriber; Starfinder Superscriber

Oh, some good news is that DHL Express Worldwide is back to being available (to my location)! Not sure whether that happened after subscriptions were processed today or instead sometime Friday/over the weekend, but it would now be back down to 17 USD for shipping those items (instead of 37 USD).

That's great for still being able to continue subscriptions (though I had already skipped this month's items). I can look forward to getting Lost Omens: High Seas as soon as possible!

Pathfinder Adventure, Maps, Pathfinder Accessories, Rulebook Subscriber; Starfinder Superscriber

I can somewhat understand not having a final shipping price in the reminder email, if there's a chance that they could change from the reminder to the actual order creation. (Though an estimate/warning would be important when you have such large increases from one month to the next.)

But the changes in shipping options were absolutely in place ahead of time, just not stated anywhere. You had to happen to manually go check out with an order to notice that the options are different. If all the same options were present but had increased prices, then there'd at least be some transparency and you could say "Okay, DHL doesn't make sense anymore, since it went from being the cheapest to being expensive".

EDIT: Oh, it seems that from when I last checked (within the last few days) to now, DHL Express Worldwide has been added back as an option, at least where I am.

Okay. I don't usually vent in public like this, but the series of issues that's been happening recently REALLY get on my nerves. First, there's the Paizo Connect issue with Demiplane, almost 6 months in after the new store opens.

Now, I was just served a bill with close to $100 for shipping a book for my subscription. I'm not sure what Paizo was doing, but I've heard nothing about this jump of over 500% in shipping price (it was less than $20 last time). I can understand paying more due to the "situations", but this jump is just ridiculous. It's even more than the cost of the book itself.

Really. Paizo. You are making this 20-year supporter rethinking about continue to support you.

Not sure where you're located, but I had raised the issue with removing DHL (at least to Canada), and got no answer from Paizo people: DHL Removed as Shipping Option to Canada?.

I could at least *understand* having removed the un-tracked international shipping. But removing the only remotely affordable shipping option makes buying directly unsustainable. (Even before recent events, USPS and UPS were already expensive options.)

Yesterday, I skipped the two map subscriptions (and will likely cancel them), after seeing that the shipping would come out to about 40 USD, the same as the price of the items (and that's not just because it's a *relatively* low-value order; shipping keeps scaling up with items quite quickly). And I'm not even facing the 5x you describe!

I had previously been on the edge about sticking with subscriptions, since the price was similar between that and waiting for a games store here to get it and buying the PDF separately, and the early access was nice. But the new prices are probably going to be too much. Plus I could then save money by only buying PDFs on books I particularly want as PDFs.

Has DHL been removed as a shipping option on the Paizo store (at least to Canada)? It had become the most reasonable shipping option, USPS and UPS prices seem to grow much more quickly with number of items than DHL did, and they have a higher floor.

If USPS and UPS become the only shipping option, keeping subscriptions coming to Canada is going to become completely unsustainable. For a cart with the contents of my last subscription order of:

* Starfinder Adventure: Tales from the Vast Adventure Anthology
* Pathfinder Adventure: Troubles in Grayce Adventure Anthology
* Starfinder Condition Cards Deck
* Pathfinder Beginner Box: Secrets of the Unlit Star
* Pathfinder Flip-Mat: Training Grounds
* Pathfinder Monster Core 2 Pawn Box

the cheapest shipping option now is "USPS (Priority Mail International)" at 119.80 USD. The cost on the actual subscription a few weeks ago, with DHL, was 37.42 USD.

Similarly, on a single-book-order (it was a little silly to have to do that to take full advantage of Gold, but regardless it made the most sense), the floor on shipping now seems to be up at 25 USD for USPS instead of 15 USD for DHL (and UPS starts at $95 for a single book).

I know that fuel prices could cause shipping rates to rise, but the USPS and UPS options were *already* expensive before that happened. Removing DHL removes the only reasonable option (and any visibility on what their price is, for comparison). On top of having a much better price, paying duties/taxes is very easy with DHL (compared to the mail where you just have to hope that you can do it online ahead of time, instead of at the door) and they have very quick deliveries and good tracking.

Is DHL gone for good?

There was that, +4 which I struggled to see why it was there, I think it is just poorly worded abbreviated text with a typo. If you have a single target and use all 3 actions it is +3, my guess is that first line assumes you are using 3 actions and it should be +3 not 4. Then it explains you can do separate shards each getting +1.

My interpretation:
The first line says for every action, the second line assumes you used 3 actions and has a typo. After this it explains you can break the 3 actions up.

Actual Text:
Force Barrage [one-action] to [three-actions] For every action you spend to cast this spell, you shoot a shard of magic toward a creature you can see within 120 feet. It hits automatically, dealing 1d4+4 force damage. Choose the target for each missile individually. If you choose the same target more than once, each shard after the first deals 1d4+1 damage.

If it was all combined it would be 3d4+4, so I'm thinking it was just a plain typo (maybe from having "4" in the mind while writing). It could have snuck in if a previous version of that text did have 3d4+4, but I'd find that odd given that (as far as I've seen) the spell is always structured in terms of shards.

Got my hands on this last night and looks fantastic. Love it.

Will say someone should take a look at Seoni's character sheet and spot check Force Barrage though. Least the PDF that I was looking through today has an interesting typo :D

Ah, I'm happy you noticed that! I've been running some friends through Dawn of the Frogs (3/5 are new to TTRPGs), and for the fifth player I offered up the normal stock pre-gens (the multi-page ones without all the extra tips) for the four characters that I knew were coming in this box.

I printed out the new fold-out character sheet for Seoni, so that they could get the tips and explanations on their if they wanted them (even though it's a very different character spell-wise), and that might have caused some confusion to see that 1d4+4.

I am happy that they've handled sorcerous potency for force barrage well on this character sheet! The existing non-BB Seoni pre-gens could use an update to add the wording that each shard after the first only deals 1d4+1 damage.

Does anyone know if there are plans to bring out mini card packs for the other books?

Rage of Elements and Secrets of Magic do specifically have spell cards available:

https://store.paizo.com/pathfinder-spell-cards-rage-of-elements/
https://store.paizo.com/pathfinder-rpg-secrets-of-magic-spell-cards/

Since they're pre-Remaster books, they're also 50% off from the Spring Clean Sale through tomorrow (on the day I post this), so hopefully you see them in time.

I'm however not aware of any spell cards for other books (other than CRB or PC/PC2); it'd be nice to have occasional booster set for spells from newer books.

FDM (or the "normal" 3d printing you're probably thinking of) is much less toxic, and is much easier to get into! You can pick up a Bambu Lab A1 (or mini!) for a couple hundred bucks. With a 0.2mm nozzle as an add-on you can get *fine* quality. It's what I use!

Are you getting good results I haven't had time to print any yet

I just got the Boggard Swampseer off the plate, printed on a Prusa Core ONE+ with a 0.25 mm nozzle, 0.05 mm layer height, Classic perimeter generator, and with default-settings snug supports where auto-painted in the slicer.

It turned out quite well! I managed to remove the supports without any damage to the model, A bit of cleanup with a knife then a coat of spray primer, and I think it should look pretty good.

My next step is to run the pre-SLA-supported version through Painted4Combat's Resin2FDM, and see if I get easier/better results that way.

One minor issue is that the models seem to not be fully-closed STLs, with some open edges.

Wow, I didn't really know what to expect, that's a lot of value! (At least for this first month.)

I've been running some new-to-PF friends through Dawn of the Frogs, mostly using minis, but couldn't find anything for the Boggard Swampseer (and I was going to use Bullywugs as Boggard Warriors, since I could only find Boggard Scout minis). These are coming at nearly the perfect time!

Frustrating - I don't mind if the product code is included, but whenever I buy multiple PDFs I have to go on a renaming orgy which requires me to:

1. Open the file
2. Check what product this file represents
3. Close the file
4. Rename the file

If the file name included the product title, I could skip steps 1-3.

Personally, I like short file names that aren't too much. I've settled on a system of placing the files in folders with the name of each book, then making symlinks from the PDF files into another folder, where I give the symlinks the full book name. To me, that gives the best balance of formal cataloguing and usability.

Instead of having to open each file, I find it easiest to copy the name from the title in the pop-up before clicking the download button. Then when you're asked where to save it, you can paste in the name (or in my case make a new folder with that name).

I haven't paid too much attention to the gold I was collecting, aside from using what I had initially for $20 here and there, but now I see why I didn't have enough gold to use $20 coupons on my two recent large orders during the Spring Clean Sale. I don't seem to have gotten any gold for any physical purchases since Nov 26th 2026, when it was added for purchases old store purchases. That's for both subscriptions and one-time orders.

I've got the occasional increase from digital-only orders, but those are relatively small amounts.

it's getting old canceling all the old subscriptions to add a new one and the old again in one bundle to get them to ship at once.

Do you have more than one address entry showing on the subscriptions page (regardless of if they're the same address)? If so, they won't combine automatically.

Just today I added new subscriptions, and after cleaning up some unwanted address entries they combined just fine.

Changing the addresses to all use one entry initially worked, but after refreshing still didn't combine properly. I tried cancelling and re-adding my accessory subscriptions, but those now show the wrong months and next items ("NPC Core Battle Cards" for March 2026 and "Starfinder Accessory Subscription Product TBA" for December 2026). So I have now reached out to CS about it.

On my end, I still see the Spam option in the Flag pulldown.

The spam is frequent enough that part of my (EST) morning routine has become coming on and throwing in some flags. I don't know how much it really does, but I figure that it doesn't hurt.

The incorrect watermark is a known mistake on their end (with the copy watermarked for a particular Paizo employee being uploaded instead of the original). I believe that they stated that the file had been updated with a watermark-free copy, but the version that I'm able to download isn't fixed.

I however only have 2 downloads for LO:DC available: the incorrectly watermarked single file, and the un-watermarked split set of files.

Seems like they built up a significant backlog. I put in a ticket on the 20th and haven't heard back beyond the automated confirmation email.

(Though the ticket isn't relevant anymore anyways; I had the flip-mat subscription item that wasn't showing up as being in the same order as the Lost Omens subscription, and I wanted to check before the 24th to see if they'd end up being shipped together or separately, since I didn't want to pay brokerage fees twice.

In the end I skipped that item, then cancelled the two Flip-Mat subs entirely because the shipping, duties, etc will bring the price to 2+ times the list price on months where the Flip-Mats are the only subscription item.)

There absolutely should have been a warning via email for anyone not checking the forums regularly, and there should be an option given to pick a cheap bare-bones option. But that aside, I'm very happy to see that DHL option. It's much cheaper than the previous tracked UPS options (which were quite expensive for what you get).

Looking back at my previous orders, this new DHL option looks notably cheaper than UPS Mail Innovations International, so having tracking on top of that is a big plus. I'm seeing $43 USD in shipping if I ordered now with DHL, vs. the $53 USD that I actually paid for MII two months ago. (6 items: 4 books, a Flip-Mat, and a set of Battle Cards; to south-western Ontario)

Ideally, we should still be given the option to choose the shipping method that makes sense, especially for lower-value orders. But I personally found Mail Innovations International to be pretty bare-bones for the relatively high price that they charge.

There are also brokerage, duties, taxes, and tariffs, so depending on how those are handled with the DHL option, there could also be advantages. I've gotten a few hefty bills paid at the door in the past for some Paizo orders.

I'm very excited about the new store! Some of the tagging is a little lacking (searching for "plane" doesn't present Planar Adventures at all in the results), but being able to manage subscriptions is a big plus! I also *thought* that I had a Lost Omens subscription, but didn't see it listed in my subscriptions, so I "ordered" it again.

(Side note on that: I would love some new planar content beyond the elemental planes! Planar cosmology, travel between planes, denizens of outer plans, transitive planes, etc., I can't get enough!)

Not relevant - known bug:
I'm a bit disappointed (though I assume this was already announced somewhere) that purchases in the last year aren't counting towards Paizo Plus. A couple months ago, I had a big burst of order value, enough to get to the highest tier (or at least close). But at the steady-state subscription pace, (now being out of PF2e/Lost Omens/SF2e books to catch up on and having most of the accessories I'd want) I might not get there at all in the next year, and won't get to the middle tier for a couple months.

However, I don't remember those inside page previews on the old site. I'm buzzing with excitement for this month's Lost Omens release!

When you talk about a manual way to change that, do you mean during checkout, or afterwards once you've placed the order and it's in your sidecart?

If you mean the former, then you can change the shipping method to a specific method on the shipping page instead of just being with the next subscription order. If you mean the latter, yeah, it is a bit annoying to have to submit a ticket to manage your sidecart. That's something that I hope gets addressed with the upcoming store tech upgrades.

Having now gotten this product (but not having played, so I won't yet leave a review), I can agree with a lot of the points made before. I don't want to go in too hard on it, because most everything I'd say has already been said and acknowledged by Paizo (and I can understand that tariffs make things difficult), but still want to share my thoughts.

One of the biggest issues with this product is the mismatch between how it's marketed and what it is. Paizo is known for the quality of their (dry/wet/permanent-erasable) Flip-Mats. Getting a paper poster map (even if it does feel particularly high-quality for a poster) is then disappointing and feels misleading when it's advertised as a Flip-Mat.

While I do prefer pawns, I don't hate the tokens in a self-contained adventure. The 3/4" size for all creatures is definitely a bit small but it sounds like products designed in the future will have this addressed.

The handouts are pretty flimsy (I'm happy that I got this as a subscription, so I have the PDF and can reprint them on cardstock). Based purely on the description and (arbitrary) expectations, and ignoring the cost to manufacture and import, I'd have expected the handouts to feel like the item and NPC cards, and for those item/NPC cards to be like the tarot-style Monster Core Battle Cards.

The box *is* thinner (in dimensions, not cardboard thickness) than I had expected based on other comments and the product image, but that's not a bad thing shelf-space-wise (though it is still about 3/4 empty).

I don't want this to come across as just negativity, I've already had a read through the first chapter and I'm excited to play! But I do hope to see these issues fixed in future Deluxe Adventures after Dawn of the Frogs.
