Hey, all! Two housekeeping items.
First, I'd like to know the experience level of everyone playing; please jump in with your general ACG knowledge (understandably, I don't expect anyone to be familiar with the new version's rules):
(1) Haven't played any ACG before/only played a few times
(2) Have been through all or most of an ACG campaign (Rise of the Runelords, Mummy's Mask, Adventure Card Guild season, etc.)
(3) Basically a master of ACG.
Second, if I can get people telling me which character they want to play ahead of time, I can have the decks built. Your options are our core 12 iconics (Fumbus the alchemist, Amiri the barbarian, Lem the bard, Kyra the cleric, Lini the druid, Valeros the fighter, Sajan the monk, Harsk the ranger, Merisiel the rogue, Seelah the paladin, Seoni the sorcerer, or Ezren the Wizard). You can also pick from Kess the brawler, Quinn the investigator, Hakon the skald, or Varian the wizard, as I can add those.
It's okay to not understand how these characters play in the new version, and instead say something like "I'd prefer someone with lots of spells" or "I like characters with smaller hand sizes" or even "surprise me."
My inclination is to jump right into the first adventure of Curse of Crimson Throne and see how far we get!

Experience: I'd say I'm a level 2.
Character: I'd like to low-key request Quinn the investigator. But if that ends up not working with the group dynamics, or someone else really wants to play it, I can play just about anything.
So that leads to a follow-up question: Is there anything we need to bring, other than our happy selves, and maybe some dice?

Just happy selves and dice!
