The Goblins of the Opera

Saturday afternoon, 1:00–6:00 pm, 2015 • Cascade 10

Goblin raid against Sandpoint horse sized failure! Most of the warband killed by full hand of fingers of awful longshank heroes! Thankfully you and rest of goblins in squad are smart, real smart! Hide from longshank heroes! Overhear different longshanks mouthflapping words like "gold" and "fortune". You recognize words! One of longshanks holding map! Shank the man and take the page, goblins go on full rampage! In the town and hinterlands, dig the ground and kill the mans!

Set in Sandpoint and the surrounding hinterlands, this will be a comedic, story focused adventure featuring 3rd level goblin characters. Use of the premade characters is encouraged, but not required.

The adventure begins when a group of surviving goblins is escaping a failed raid on Sandpoint. Sneaking through the docks, the goblins accidentally stumble upon a group of longshanks using the chaos from the raid to further their own dark agenda. After dispatching them, the goblins mistake a note being carrying by one of them for a treasure map. Unable to read the writing on it, the goblins will traverse the surrounding countryside searching for treasure and thwarting evil without even realizing what they're doing. Thankfully Sheriff Hemlock is quick to catch on, and follows just a step behind whomever these heroes are that are bringing light to one of Sandpoints darkest secrets.

Hello everyone, and thank you for signing up for my game!

I plan to have GotA be a relatively light hearted game, where you'll play through most of the story as your goblins, followed shortly afterwards with cameos of the Sandpoint town guard as they try and discern what could possibly be happening around their sleepy little town*.

If you're making your own goblin PC, use 20 point buy and average wealth. If you want to run it by me, I'm glad to accept custom goblin themed traits and feats for your character. Renaming items thematically is encouraged!

*Not a guaranteed trait of Sandpoint.
