To be clear, I haven't seen much of it in Flaxseed, but I most certainly have most other places on this site (with the exception of my beloved personal pharaony of Forum Games, of course!)

Moderators are required to be lawful neutral rather than chaotic good.

Maximize your interactions with people who you have fun with and who have fun with you. Minimize interactions with people who make you nervous or uncomfortable.

I've never had a problem with you, Closet, nor your behavior here, but this above is always a troubling perspective.

I'll allow myself to speak frankly here: being unable to recognize that you could possibly be part of a problem is in itself somewhat problematic. If you're sure you're always right, you're certain to sometimes be wrong.

Whilst I'm not hugely active in this part of the forum I've never seen anything that would make me think of 'secret police'. The moderators and PbP VOs do an amazing job of keeping this an incredibly friendly, open & welcoming area in my opinion (so much so that I've jumped into my first Play By Post game on these boards for Outpost!).

The only thing I would say is that sometimes not changing can be a part of the problem, as social mores change with time and people become more aware that some behaviours that may have been accepted in the past are actually harmful, we should reassess how we act and change to be more accommodating and understanding if needed.

My 2 cents:

(1): There will always be people with a difference of opinion. It's what makes us Human. It's in our DNA.

(2): I think this is more of a Discussion tab thing than a Recruitment tab thing.

At least that's how I see it. Take it as you will.

Agreed, if we each treat everyone with respect and courtesy and keep discussions on the correct tabs, there shouldn't be a need for police, secret or otherwise. :-)

Seeing as how we've got time. I'll run a thing for people.

I own all the season 6 and 7 adventures so I can run out of that. Please fill out this form to suss out what people want. I'll take the majority voted scenario. If it's your suggestion, I'll reserve a spot.

As of today we are removing the limits on the number of tables you can sign up for during Outpost III. Just make sure you can handle them.

Any plans to get this started a bit earlier since we're all hunkered down into our respective man caves at the moment?

Not at this time. Also keep in mind that some jobs can't be done remotely so it's likely still business as usual for them or possibly even busier than usual.

Those of us who have more family and little ones running around the house than normal are also much busier than usual.

Hey, I have little ones too... since when a couple of PbP posts per day make you a bad parent? :P

I think the point is 'There's a lot more distraction with more bodies in residence vs. fewer'?

Also having to keep said bodies entertained when they normally have someplace to be for hours and work to finish when at home are probably also important factors to consider here.

Plus, a lot of those same people who will be running tables and bringing you the convention are currently trying to help others transition to online play to keep their lodges alive during this time.

If you're already submitted your table via the GM Registration Form then that's all you'll need to do on your end. The VO team has to manually add the tables to the sign-up sheet on our end of things.

I'm currently a bit busy but I'll try and get any recently submitted tables added to the sheet ASAP :)
