Perils of Crescent Harbor (Inactive)

Pirate-themed adventures in and around Port Peril.

Crescent Harbor--one of the island districts of the pirate city of Port Peril--is a bustling place filled with weather-beaten wood buildings, shadowy alleys, and colorful and unusual people. Per the Hurricane King's decree, all arriving vessels must spend at least a week in a sort of quarantine at the docks of Crescent Harbor while their cargo and crew are inspected by the underlings of the dwarven Harbormaster Tjosmin Kreidoros. As a result, the island has developed a lot of service industries for the bored and confined captains and crewmen with time and money to spend while awaiting word to proceed into Port Peril proper. There's always plenty of honest (and dishonest) coin to be made from such captive consumers....

Crescent Harbor is also a hotbed of intrigue, with people stopping in from ports all throughout Golarion. Their stories, treasures, sword arms, and spellfingers are available here first before passing across the bay to the mainland city. In fact, some arrivals never make that short voyage and other folks have lived their whole lives on the island, rarely finding the need to travel to the mainland city.

PC Actions Aboard the Wormwood

Wormwood Crew:

OFFICERS
Mr. Plugg: First Mate; gives riggers their daily jobs. Young, fit, prematurely receding hairline, has long black haired pulled back in a ponytail; wears a fancy long coat and is armed with a cat-o'-nine tails.
Master Scourge: Boatswain & Master-of-Arms; ship's disciplinarian, gives swabs their daily jobs. Smiles sadistically through his beard and moustache; wears a long coat and carries a whip.
Peppery Longfarthing: The Wormwood's Lady Mage, this officer's black hair is graying prematurely. She turned down the idea of Vincent becoming her assistant, at least for the present.
"Cut-Throat" Grok: Quartermaster & Operator of Ship's Store; a female half-orc with a scar on her throat where someone tried to slit it. Is friendly with the Ship's Cook, Ambrose "Fishguts" Kroop. Is responsible for handing out the nightly rum ration.
Ambrose "Fishguts" Kroop: Ship's Cook. Fat, smelly, and ugly; rarely leaves the galley or his quarters except to serve meals.

RIGGERS
PC Riggers: Culder, Jarvis
Maheem: A muscular, scowling, dusky-skinned pirate. Culder mashed his hand into glass shards at the conclusion of a 'friendly' arm-wrestling match. He was part of the Breakfast Brawl.
Shivikah: Tall, dark-skinned Mwangi female; Maheem's lady.
"Barefoot" Samms Toppin: Reserved human female; goes barefoot.
"Slippery" Syl Lonegan: A dark-haired, long-legged, self-assured human. When angered, she gets a crazy look in her eyes. Culder KO'd her in the Breakfast Brawl.
Tam "Narwhal" Tate: An ugly, cyst-covered dwarf with a nose broken several times and badly reset (thus his nickname). Was KO'd and nearly killed by Culder. Had no qualms about striking a lady (Rosie Cusswell).
"Ratline" Rattberger: Short, long-armed halfling with a ratlike face.

SWABS
PC Swabs: Vincent, Aghon
Aretta Bansion: Curvaceous female human; perhaps a ship's whore. Really dislikes Aghon. Member of Team Mean.
Jape A quiet, leering male half-orc, likely a mute. Part of Team Mean.
Sandara Quinn (a.k.a. "Red"): Redheaded human female; cleric of Besmara. A recent abductee who's not happy with her lot on the ship. Scourge likes to boss her around.
Tiffer Gibbs: Bedraggled female gnome with lemon-lime hair who wears an eyepatch.
Jack Scrimshaw: Young human male, quiet, who likes to carve wood and whalebone.
Tilly Brackett: Friendly-looking human female who nevertheless helped Team Mean in the Breakfast Brawl. She claims to have done so because she owed Scourge a gambling debt.
"Badger" Medlar: Older female half-elf with gray hair shaved into stripes.
Rosie Cusswell: Pretty halfling female with bulging biceps.
Crimson "Cog" Cogward: Young human sailor wearing a dark bandana, captured same night as party. Was part of Team Mean in the Breakfast Brawl and is an accomplished hand-to-hand pugilist.
Fipps Chumlett: Fat, sweaty, pig-eyed human. Part of Team Mean (but not Team Lean).
Conchobhar Turlach Shortstone: An overdressed male gnome dandy, captured in Port Peril the same night the party was shanghaied. Charmed two pirates during the Breakfast Brawl.
