Haste, expires THIS ROUND on Ilya's initiative.
Bless on the group (+1 attack rolls, +1 vs fear)
Entangle on color spray survivors.
Inspire Courage, +1 (DOES stack with bless)
Malthir's magical sword cuts through Vesket's skin and wounds the giant lizardfolk. The second blow cuts through Vesket's armour but loses enough force as to not penetrate his tough skin.
Kalev is up. Last round of haste remember guys.

DM Alexander Kilcoyne |

Kalev brings his full focus into the combat with Vesket, focusing all his attention on the massive lizardfolk king and conciously seeking weak points and the best openings. He swings his massive axe twice, the first blow bashing Vesket's trident aside and the second taking advantage of the opening, opening a huge gash on Vesket, who roars in pain. One of his two braves breaks free of the webbing, standing his ground for the time being.

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Fenna's up.
Kalev- I botted you using rangers focus on Vesket before your attack. You have 1 left for the day.

Fenna Thistleswade |

Looks like you might have missed the 5' step last round, I think Fenna should be 5' to the east. Doesn't matter too much though, she can always take the 5' step this round instead.
As the gnomish woman finishes her incantation, a brightly feathered eagle appears in a brief flash of golden light, flapping its wings rapidly to keep it within reach of the the glowing 'ancestor spirit' and swiping at it with its sharp talons and beak.
Backing away from Vesket's vicious trident, Fenna begins another prayer, "Mighty Aroden, please grant me the strength to bear the weight of suffering shared with the baron of Kardas."
Cure moderate wounds on herself: 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (8, 4) + 5 = 17
The celestial eagle full attacks Stisshak and tries to Hover in the square south of Ilya.
Talons 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12, 1d4 ⇒ 4 & 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14, 1d4 ⇒ 2
Bite 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15, 1d4 ⇒ 3
DC15 Fly check 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19

Kalev Lehola |

No worries about the botting, I was gonna do that anyway...though rolling 5 on 3d6 was a bit annoying of you ;)
No problem with a 6th player.
When the Will o'wisp moved, how far above me was it. I reckon I reach 20 ft. in the air, so there might have been some AoO there.
Just in case there was:
Attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30
Damage: 3d6 + 17 ⇒ (3, 4, 5) + 17 = 29

DM Alexander Kilcoyne |

The wisp ensured no AOO from you, it stayed just out of reach.
Grappled by the web, Vesket lunges for Kalev twice using his trident in one hand- getting it caught up in the webs in the process and completely missing. Seething in frustration, he lunges forward and bites him instead.
1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
1d6 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Casimir's up. Lets see if he can put the failing King out of his misery. Double 1's... bah.

Casimir |

Casimir lashes out at the trapped king, his sword slashing through the strands of web to cut deep into Vesket's flesh.
Attack #1: Two-handed pwr att + Arcane Strike:
Attack roll (haste+bless+inspire) 1d20 + 12 + 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 12 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 18
Damage roll (inspire)1d8 + 10 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 10 + 1 = 18
Attack #1: Two-handed pwr att + Arcane Strike:
Attack roll (haste+bless+inspire+pwr att penalty) 1d20 + 12 + 1 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 12 + 1 + 1 + 1 - 2 = 25
Damage roll (inspire)1d8 + 10 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 10 + 1 = 15

DM Alexander Kilcoyne |

Ilya swiftly disengages via a dimensial hop, and ascends rapidly. The eagle's talons and claws flail harmlessly against the agile will o' wisp.
Note- your maneuvrability is not anywhere near perfect so you can't ascend vertically- you end up going a fair distance north too.
Abandoning its pursuit of the wizard, Stisshak flies over the battle and descends from the north next to Malthir- ramming itself into Malthir's armour. The full plate appears to help the electricity flow in a more potent manner, and the small of burnt flesh dominates the battlefield as Malthir and Fenna are severely wounded...
This does provoke an AOO from the eagle.
1d20 + 20 ⇒ (20) + 20 = 40 Hit vs Touch
4d6 + 4 ⇒ (5, 6, 1, 5) + 4 = 21
1d20 + 20 ⇒ (2) + 20 = 22 Confirmed vs Touch
4d6 + 4 ⇒ (4, 3, 3, 3) + 4 = 17
19 damage each, Malthir and Fenna.

5' step NE towards Fenna.
Kalev, finish the King and move closer to the spirit so it does't escape!
Bah that will miss, have rolled poorly this entire combat...

Kalev Lehola |

Kalev takes a powerful swing against the lizard king, his powerful muscles straining and bulging.
Attack: (Bless, Inspire Courage, Focus, Power Attack) 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (15) + 13 = 28
Damage: (Bless, Inspire Courage, Focus, Power Attack) 3d6 + 21 ⇒ (3, 2, 4) + 21 = 30

DM Alexander Kilcoyne |

Another huge gash is taken out of Vesket from Kalev's axework, but the King maintains his footing, blood pouring from multiple slashing wounds. The two braves desperately attempt to keep their king from harm, seeking to deflect blows meant for him with their shields.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17 Aid another (success)
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 Aid another (failure)
Fenna's up.

Fenna Thistleswade |

Waning once more under the weight of the meagical protection she extends to Malthir, Fenna calls out again for diving healing.
Meanwhile, the otherworldly eagle swoops down to slash a talon at the 'spirit'.
AoO 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15, 1d4 ⇒ 2
Celestial Eagle flies to a square where it can provide flanking for Casimir, then attacks.

Cure light wounds on Fenna 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

DM Alexander Kilcoyne |

Hovering just above the web, the eagle slashes at Vesket but misses. Seeing Casimir about to strike at him once more, Vesket launches a furious assault with some of the last of his strength. He manages to stab Casimir with his trident and roars in triumph before getting it caught in the webbing again. Frustrated, he leans in and bites the Spymaster.

1d6 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Casimir |

Casimir roars in anger and pain as the Lizard king's teeth tear into his flesh. He lashes out again, his silvery blade once again cutting into Veskets flesh
Two-handed pwr att + Arcane Strike:
Attack roll (flank+bless+inspire) 1d20 + 12 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 12 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 29
Damage roll (inspire) 1d8 + 10 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 10 + 1 = 13

DM Alexander Kilcoyne |

Sorry guys... I was free when the forum was down and got busy when it came back up...
Lashing out against Vesket, Casimir's silver sword cuts through cobwebs, flesh and armour alike as he slashes the hulking lizardfolk king with a well places sword blow. The lizardfolk roars his defiance as the blade cuts into him and for a moment it seems as though he will continue the fight. With blood pouring from all of his wounds, he finally sags to his knees, held up for a moment by the web before collapsing into a bloody heap- breathing shallowly but still barely alive.
Ilya's up.

DM Alexander Kilcoyne |

The few survivors of the front lines begin to groggily get up and make their way towards the gates, seeking to escape the corpse ridden village. Meanwhile, Stisshak continues to assault Malthir, and then turns invisible after striking, the glow illuminating the will o' wisp suddenly vanishing and leaving only empty air to your eyes...
1d20 + 20 ⇒ (4) + 20 = 24 Hit Vs Touch
4d6 + 4 ⇒ (5, 1, 5, 6) + 4 = 21
11 damage Malthir, 10 damage Fenna.

Malthir Al Dagon |

Malthir swift heals himself:
Lay on Hands 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 3) + 1 = 6
Seeing how useless his shield is drops it as a move action, then says to Casimir, We need that potion of invisibilty purge now Cas if we are to have any chance at attacking this creature!
Ready an action to attack the spirit if it appears after Casimir acts and is within reach holding his sword in two hands...I think he can 5' step as part of this if needed...Alex can confirm.

Casimir |

Casimir has the potion of invisibility purge, not Fenna.
As Casimir sees the wisp disappear, he calls out.
Nice trick, Stisshak...but it won't do you much good. Prepare to feel the wrath of the Guardians of Kardas! Just wait a moment, friends, and I'll make that glowing glob appear again."
Basically, Casimir is recommending that everyone delay until after his turn. And yup, still maintaining Inspire Courage. I have 10 rounds total.

DM Alexander Kilcoyne |

Yup eagle is north of its last location, you east.
The braves hesitate, and then begin to flee into the web. One of them is lost from sight while the one near Casimir gets hopelessly stuck.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
1d20 ⇒ 8
Casimir uses the potion of invisibility purge, revealing Stisshak once more, flying directly above Malthir. In response, Malthir's glowing sword finally connects with the abberation, his sword slashing through it in a mighty arc.
Sorry for the delay. Kalev's up.

Kalev Lehola |

Kalev takes a mighty swing at the glowing skull, sending a prayer to Erastil that his weapon is powerful enough to hurt the clearly unnatural creature.
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
Damage: 3d6 + 17 ⇒ (5, 6, 4) + 17 = 32

DM Alexander Kilcoyne |

Kalev just about manages to land a successful blow on the wisp, doing a great deal of damage to its form. Apparently stunned by the effectiveness of your blows, the will o' wisp withdraws from the fight, becoming invisible once more as it leaves the radius of the spell. You wait with weapons ready for it to return to the fight, but it shows no sign of coming back...

Casimir |

Assuming none of the other combatants offer further resistance, Casimir will spend the duration of the potion moving about the village, trying to locate the fleeing wisp. (Which I doubt will happen, since he can't fly)

DM Alexander Kilcoyne |

Malthir enters the hut. The boy lies dead upon a table inside the small mound, which appears to be some kind of offerings hut for the will o' wisp. It appears Tig was slain by electric burns upon his flesh, and his body is still warm, although rapidly growing colder.
Various animal skins lie in a small pool upon the floor, along with a pile of coins, three small blue gems, a ring, a small tree statuette and a fine craftsmanship crossbow.
Casimir is unable to locate the wisp. It seems very few lizardfolk escaped the massacre, a couple managing to get over the gate and flee.
Unfortunately, frontal assaults in a hostage situation sometimes get the hostage killed...

Malthir Al Dagon |

After attempting to heal the boy a sad Malthir turns to the rest of the Guardians, holding the dead boy in his hands
We have failed today. Instead of gaining an ally and rescuing a boy, we have destroyed a people and caused the death of one of our own. Is this the kind of rulers we are to become? I know we can't rescue everyone and make allies out of all of the people we have met, I still feel like there was more we could have done here. We must all strive to make our enemies our allies and protect those who can not protect themselves.
Looking a little weary, Let any of the remaining Lizard folk go who yet live. Tell them to leave these lands and and do not return under penalty of death. Allow them to take any food or items they need. As soon as they are gone we search the village and then burn it to the ground and return this land to the swamp... he says severely...

Malthir Al Dagon |

You could pay for a scroll of raise dead if you wished... Up to you. Either the news of the boy's rescue, or of his demise will likely evoke a strong response from the citizenry, while no news at all is likely to change little.
Not sure what would be worse, the cries of the family for Tig's death or the cries of the people that would occur everytime a tradegy hits and the Guardians had to choose who gets raised and who doesn't. Malthir isn't completely opposed the idea, but is very afraid of setting a precedent. Who will we anger when we can't raise their child or wife or husband?

Malthir Al Dagon |

Nobody needs to know that you used raise dead on the boy...
You are suggesting that the King, the Paladin in the group that is supposed to represent what is good and just in the kingdom, lie to his people about what occurred?...The real question would be can we afford the atonement scroll as well...lol's. That would then turn into a dilemma for Malthir and why we chose this child and none of the ones from Scorchbark for example.

I think this is a golden RP opportunity- please discuss it IC rather than OOC, too much is decided in OOC.
I would discuss it IC but I don't think they will be able to hear me. ;) I will withdraw from the discussion...
