Bhemariel

Bhemariel's Followers:

Kurt Miller (Faith Potential: 3, age 56): A wheat farmer, and Bhemariel's first pact, made about 3 years after his escape from the Abyss. Kurt's daughter was bitten by an adder, and in desperation cried out for God to intervene. Instead, Bhemariel saved his youngest daughter and granted her his immunity to poisons to preemptively ward off any other unfortunate events. In exchange, Kurt became Bhemariel's most faithful servant, and serves as the "priest" of Bhemariel's small but growing cult. He, his wife, and his four children (the youngest now 11) serve as the core of the cult.

Petra Schmidt (Faith Potential: 2, age 49): The husband of Gunter Schmidt, Bhemariel's second pact which he made two years after Kurt's. Originally, this pact entailed a blessing on their crops, a varied root vegetable farm that had seen better times. Every year at the harvest, Bhemariel would increase the plants' growth, causing even the scrawniest plants to bear big, beautiful vegetables. Three years ago Gunter died of a heart attack on the way to market. Terrified of leaving her children orphaned, she made a pact with Bhemariel for perfect health. Bhemariel obliged, increasing her physical attributes to those of the prime of her youth and ensuring they would stay that way so long as she was loyal to Bhemariel. To better ensure her loyalty, he keeps to the bargain he made with Gunter even though the pact was broken with his death, ensuring their crop growth every year. Her and her two oldest sons are part of the cult, though the youngest daughter has not yet been inducted.

Finn Hardt (Faith potential: 2, age 23): Two years ago, Fin stumbled across one of the cult's rites in the wood (a simple feast of sacrifice involving tribute from the two families and a reaffirmation of their devotion). The reveal of Bhemariel's revelatory form when he arrived caused Finn to cry out in awe where he hid in the bushes, and he was quickly subdued while still in a daze from gazing on Bhemariel's majesty. Bhemariel, sensing he was mostly harmless, gave him a choice: Join them in their feast of revelry and gain Bhemariel's favor, or die. He chose the former, and when pressed for a gift wished for greater fitness...and much greater endowment. Bhemariel agreed with a condition, that he spread his seed as widely as he could, aiming to increase the population of this little town, literally breeding more potential followers.
