Homebrew and House Rules

Hi everyone. These are the 3 main house rules we added to the already tremendous MM rulebook (for those who read my posts, most of it I already presented). I welcome any remark, correction, improvement, even better wording in English, so that we can secure those before starting our local MM adventures.

HOUSE RULE 1 : When you need to draw "only blessings" from the blessing deck (e. g. an undefeated villain escapes and the blessing deck doesn’t only include blessings)
If you need to draw at least one blessing, draw cards from the blessing deck and look at them. Set aside any blessing you find. Reshuffle immediately into the blessing deck any other card. As soon as have set aside enough blessings, put them back in the box and draw the same number from the box without looking at them. With those, carry on doing the villain escape.

HOUSE RULE 2 : Between games steps
A) At the end of game (i. e. trading between characters that just ended a scenario together):
. 1) Manage displayed cards
. 2) Collect cards (buried, discarded...) in your hand
. 3) Receive reward cards
. 4) Distribute cards from dead characters between characters that survived the scenario and let those characters trade any cards between themselves without restrictions of deck validity
. 5) Trade once with a displayed trader (every character at the same time: a card received from a trader cannot be traded again during that step)
. 6) Put cards you don't want in a global pot in the middle of the table
. 7) Complete your deck to make it valid with cards in the middle of the table until you cannot
. 8) Return extra cards to box
. 9) Draw from the box at random valid (i. e. Basic only then with AD <= to the scenario you played-2, of needed type and specificity - like it must be an item and/or Staff) cards to complete your deck (if needed).

B) At the start of the next game:
. 10) Trade between characters that will start the game, keeping everyone's deck valid (i. e. trading cards of the same type, keeping a Staff if I must have one, and so on)

HOUSE RULE 3 : Managing displayed cards at the end of a game (details on step 1 or HOUSE RULE 2 above)
When the last turn (the one that triggered the winning or losing condition) is finished (including resetting the hand if needed), the players must deal with all displayed cards. They remove from display those cards one after the other, in their order of choice, until there is no displayed card left.
- If a displayed card requires a specific condition that can no longer happen (e. g. when a location closes), the condition is supposed to have happened only for the purpose of dealing with the displayed card.
- If a displayed card requires a check to decide where it will go, the check is played as usual (every character being able to participate as usual to that check, through blessings…). During the resolution of that check, it is possible that additional cards be displayed or that additional cards be drawn, however:
. - If a player is requested to draw a card from his empty deck or from an empty blessing deck, just skip the drawing with no effect;
. - No cards unrelated to checks to manage displayed cards can be played during that whole phase (e. g. cure…), either during or between those checks;
. - Buried cards cannot be played or unburied in any way while managing displayed cards.
- When a displayed card dealt with would be returned to hand, recharged or discarded, it is buried instead (thus preventing it to be reused to deal with another displayed card).
