Ulfen Guard and heritage requirement

Just double checking--for prestige classes, usually RP requirements are waived. For the Ulfen Guard, the "Ulfen descent" seems to be more than a RP requirement as you would have had to select Ulfen ethnicity at the time of creation of your character.

Thoughts?

The Exchange 5/5

"Non-Ulfen may serve the organization in a support capacity, but may not be Ulfen Guards themselves." Seems pretty clear. Ethnicity is a mechanical choice, not just a role-play one.

Ulfen decent isn't a roleplaying requirement, it's an actual racial choice. Roleplaying requirements are more for things your character did off scene that aren't choices made as part of character creation and advancement.

Though it would be nice if the Ulfen Guard vanity allowed access.

Does that mean that only humans can take Ulfen Guard?

What about Aasimar with the Scion of Humanity alternate trait?

I have a barbarian pfs character for whom Ulfen Guard might be a great choice (he's an Aasimar made when they were legal, is an urban barbarian and likely will multiclass into swashbuckler and possibly Skald. But Ulfen Guard for a few levels at least seems flavorful (and mechanically solid)

But as it wasn't required I hadn't yet settled on his human ties - his personality is very much of a wanderer and at least for role play purposes I have assumed he was fairly old so his ancestry hadn't really come up yet.
