Next Adventure Path and GenCon

First allow me to apologize if this has been covered elsewhere. I missed it which is why I am asking here.

For those of us who are going to GenCon AND are subscribers AND would like to have this game in in our hot little hands ASAP, should we buy it at GenCon? Can we claim our subscription at GenCon? Do we just have to wait for it to be mailed?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly.

If it's like last year, you can pick up your subscription stuff at Gen Con, you just have to go toggle a little box on your shipping that will become available in late July. That will set all your subscription stuff for the Con pickup. I do this every year and the only regrets are real life's encumberance rules.

If it's like last year, though, expect a long line on Thursday morning. More than an hour long.

Yet if you have a subscription, and you've toggled that little box to tell us you're picking it up at Gen Con, you can just look at that line from afar, knowing that you can come back when the line has gone—even as late as the end of the day Saturday—and we'll still be holding your copy.

Soooooooo true, Vic. Not doing Gen Con pickup last year was such a goofball mistake for me. It's something you only bypass once:)

I'll admit I was unsure of how waiting until later works - I'm in education so I do Trade Day and get into the exhibit hall early on Thursday. Usually my sub pickups are the first thing I do so basically no wait.

Though last year I still ended up waiting 40 minutes at Fantasy Flight.

Usually the line seems to be mostly gone by Thursday afternoon, so if you wait until then you can still have it for Thursday evening gaming if you like.
