quick question about at rivalries end and way of the kirin (no spoilers)

If you have ran either of the aforementioned missions with a pregenerated character in the hopes of applying them to a character of that faction that is currently too low of level to earn them do you have to be of that level by august 14th to receive the benefit or do you have to just have it finished and reported?

You can't get the boon with a pregen at all--pregens are always Grand Lodge.

I thought there was a special exception for players below or above the appropriate level?

Not that I'm aware of.

The only exception is for people who have characters in those factions who are above the level range for the scenario. They can apply the appropriate scenario to that character as GM credit only.
