The Bay Area Pathfinder Society convention season exploded right out of the gate with DundraCon in February. We followed that up in Fresno, putting the power of PFS to good use at Bookwyrm Con in March. We traveled up to Conquest SAC to support our Sacramento siblings in April.
BUT now it’s MAY and time to bring it home! looks to be bigger than ever this year and we want to blow our previous Organized Play attendance records into a distant memory! The Kubla Family has provided BAPS with an amazing level of support and ever more table space to accommodate our incredible community growth! We asked our die hard players about their favorite scenarios and we’re offering them for new-player scenarios with our best PFS Ambassador GMs at those tables. We also have a ton of additional tables lined up with this season’s story arcs and new modules ready to go for our experienced community members, as well as a selection of older stuff for those that might have missed it in the past.
Joshua Archer is heading up expansion into the Young people and Teen Room area and we are offering more PFS there than ever before. We’re even adding a line of Beginner Box tables out front to let players sample an encounter before heading in to the full scale PFS area.

The GM rewards:
Once again this year we have GM rewards. While all of our community members contribute in some way, GMs are what allow us to offer so many opportunities to so many. The amount of preparation that goes into making even a single table happen can make your head spin and our GMs do it over and over again, providing an AMAZING gaming experience for everyone.

I'm really looking forward to this one. I'll be running Eyes of the Ten and Bonekeep. The group playing Eyes of the Ten should be a fun one and I'll earn my fifth star running part 4 on Monday.
Based on sign ups alone, we've got a great crew of GM's and players attending. This is going to be a fantastic Kubla!
I have a special gift also for that 5th star :D I look forward to presenting it then!

Chris, feel free to sign up to GM even if the GMs are waitlisting for the table you want to do. I will be doing the first adjustment of the schedule this weekend, and more tables will be added to those that are filling up, while tables with no GMs and no players will be deleted. Additionally, we have extra tables available that I will also be adding into the mix so no worries. If you want to run it and players want to play, we'll make sure there's a table for it.

You know I approve of all these 3, 4, and 5 star people coming to con. It's going to be nothing but celebrities at KublaCon.. *Getting star-struck*Ahh, the Khan of Cons, and don't sell yourself short, you've got your own 4 stars ya know.

But I am a GM-aholic that this year alone has been losing her voice at every convention she's been at.
(3 for 3!-Don't know if that's a badge of honor or not though.)
Let's see how long it lasts at Kubla ;D Since I'm GMing every slot Friday and Sat, I think I'll be ok being the "quiet" cleric at Eyes of The Ten.

Well I was originally planning on playing my Siege Engineer for Eyes of the Ten but Lady Gabrielle apparently won't go to the Prom with Farak unless he's gone through it so I'm seriously considering switching.
I wonder if I have the energy to play Farak for 5 slots at the end of a Con?
I know I am missing an inside joke. Farak is pretty awesome so I look forward to gaming with him! And with two mages, we're going to make it!

I am over by the hotel right now. I can take some pictures if you want :DThe Hotel is starting to mock me when I drive by it. That means Kubla is right around the corner.*sigh* Now I want to go drive by the Hotel....

Update: We are Growing!
Even after adding 200 additional rooms, the convention hotel has sold out. If you already have a reservation but are looking to defray some of that cost, please post here to connect with likely folks.
For those without rooms yet: It looks like Kublacon is trying to work something out with a couple of nearby hotels, but doesn't have anything quite finalized yet. They suggest the places below.

We are a mere three weeks away from the largest, most epic gaming convention on the West coast! KublaCon has historically been a great Con but in the past three years, The Bay Area Pathfinder Society have raised the bar to unparalleled levels!

For those excited about playing "The Ruins of Bonekeep", I am pleased to report that a majority of our Game Masters running Bonekeep at Kubla have played, planned and prepared for an amazing special event! Remember players, there will be characters allowed in this session. Legal PFS characters ranging from 3rd to 7th level only! GM's will perform random spot-audits of Chronicle sheets prior to the session start.
VL Andrea Brandt is my Leadership 'Right-Hand' and has been invited to join KublaCon Staff in 2013.

I have a favor to ask.
I have a character who needs some high-tier experience. He's 9th level now, and he's scheduled to play Eyes of the Ten in mid-June. So I have four weeks to raise him 3 levels.
I'll be at Kubla Con, but I didn't find any slots where (a) I have free and (b) there are high-tier games available.
So, if anybody who's unattached Friday, or Saturday night, wants to help me, I'd be obliged.
