[Jehova's Arena, Test] Fight the Seventeenth, Kirk vs. Inen

Kirk, fresh from his first battle and victory, takes his place across the arena from a new face. The halfling and elf see a fairly large turnout; it seems that the arena is becoming more popular among the smallfolk.

Kirk A10, Inen L10. Need initiative and description.

Kirk enters the Arena with an overconfident smirk. The kind of smartass smirk you tend to hate. He is an 6 ft 3 in tall elf with silver hair, dressed as a common traveler. You can make out something looking like a crossbow on his back, the only armor you can see is a haramaki. There is a dusty rose prism flying around his head, it looks like it has already seen it's best days.
Kirk is accompanied by his miniatur giant space scorpion Uhura (just a greensting scorpion) who readies for the fight at A11.

Inen enters the arena alongside a massive hound with shaggy and matted hair. Inen walks slowly forward garbed in ornately carved wooden armor, carrying a tall staff, the top of which is decked with many candles and incense. He pushes the staff deep into the ground, and from behind the wooden mask covering his face you see light glowing through the eye slits.

Can I see any ranged weapons?

Kirk reaches into one of the pouces hanging at his belt. He speaks some obscure words and throws some sand at Inen.

The hound vanishes from the ground where it slept in a tangle of smoke and shadow

I need a DC 10 fort save for the viper (assuming this is a standard srd viper who is hit by an 18, and is tiny in size).
