W1 Conquest of the Bloodsworn Vale

I like to do some work converting Paizo adventures from before pathfinder, and I just did some work on "Conquest of the Bloodsworn Vale. I take a very laid-back approach, as in I don't convert much, I just rebuild NPCs a bit and maybe add a monster or two.

I gave the big bad of the adventure, Lord Vardak, the "Destined" Bloodline, because he's a man obsessed with building a kingdom for himself. I fluffed it as he knew he was destined for greatness, and perhaps lost sight of his original destiny and is now building one of his own.

Anyone got any other ideas what might fit him better, bloodline-wise?

Draconic bloodline would explain his influence over the drakes, or abyssal would be appropriate for the Barghest allies.

I just went with arcane bloodline since his original writeup in the module says he has a familiar (named Earful, under the SQ line), and you only get the arcane bond ability with the arcane bloodline.
