Trap rune 7/day 1d8+2
Trap rune:
Trap Rune (Sp): At 1st level, as a standard action, you can sketch a single, nearly invisible magical rune on any 5-foot-square solid surface. When you create a rune, pick one of the following energy types: acid, cold, electricity, or fire. While the rune is active, the next creature other than you who steps on or touches the rune's area causes the rune to explode. The rune's explosion deals a number of points of energy damage equal to 1d8 + 1 per sorcerer level you possess to anything in its square. A Reflex saving throw halves the damage (DC 10 + 1/2 your sorcerer level + your Charisma modifier). The rune is considered a magical trap for the purpose of perceiving it or disabling it. The DC for both Perception and Disable Device checks is the same as the Reflex saving throw to halve the damage. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier. Each rune lasts for 24 hours or until discharged.
Ritmush doesn't know much of his life, one day in the long distant past a farm burned down and the kobolds of the feathered arm were nearby. With both of the parents dead in the farm and a squalling creature in the house the kobolds boldly came back a bit later and discovered a human child. Now Tarantus the son of the chief decided that if no one else was home that they were going to loot the house. So they looted it and for some reason on of the raiders took the child with them, oh right they had needed dinner.
Now obviously it didn't work out that way as when Tarantus brought home the spoils and announced a feast the oddest thing happened. The child looked at him funny and he tripped, the kobolds were somewhat frightened. Tarantus turned, drawing his knife to slay the thing and was suddenly engulfed by a giggling child who wanted to play. Tarantus tried to escape, Ritmush bubbled on him. the kobolds were shaking. And then Ritmush passed gas next to a torch and the kobold chief was convinced that the mighty kobold god had sent this creature not as food but to help the tribe.
He named the child Ritmush and sent one of the women to see what the sage knew about humans. He knew a human was tall and had no scales, perhaps this was a smaller one?
So the kobolds got a human child and the chiefs son was horribly embarrassed.
this wasn't to last though as kobold warrens are small and humans grow surprisingly fast, for a human Ritmush learned the kobold way of life quickly. The years passed under the hill and Ritmush grew from a human infant to a human child, already taller than most of his tribe and full of exhuberance. He would use his magic to trick things closer, so that the village hunters could drop a net on them and beat them up. It kept the village from considering the fact that Ritmush had no scales, or that he was very large, that he was nearly blind his eyes were so weak.
They didn't have any problems with the strange child til one day when the village leader was old and had passed on control of the tribe to his son when Ritmush tripped on a rock while scraping the ceiling of the warren, ran headfirst into Tarantus knocked him out of the tribal throne and broke the entire thing in two. He gave Tarantus a very big thing that day, an excuse, as the scaled one still hated the boy for all the embaresments he had suffered due to him.
So Tarantus banished the boy, telling him to leave his home and never return. With no other choice the child packed up his knick nacks, thanked the kobold widow who had taken care of him and left the warren.
After the incident Ritmush left his home and found a comfortable cave to live in, occasionally going to the human town to trade small things he had found in the forest for food or shiny buttons. Selling tall tales to the kids young enough to be unafraid of him for knick nacks.
Personality:
Ritmush has some very odd goals in life but ultimately he is a nice sort. He thinks the kobold ways are the best but having dealt with Tarantus he knows that sometimes even the best ways don't work. He lives wild as that is all he knows and steals because it is the only real skill he has. He knows that there are nasty things in the world but that if one is clever enough they can survive them without being very strong or fast. He doesn't have a great handle on human nature due to his upbringing.
Young as he is Ritmush is optimistic about the world and has no fears to speak of, he exuberantly whips the local kids in the town he ended up at into frenzies with his tall tales and is in general considered a nuisance but one too small to remove by the town at large.
