BACKSTORY
His Birth
"... and I shall name him Prasutagus!" Luigsech, Prasutagus' new mother, said as he was first held by his father. "For our last king should see his people as they vanish from the world."
His Childhood
Born of what may be the last pure Iceni bloodline, Prasutagus was given the weight of his parents expectations that he carry himself as his namesake. Prasutagus trained from a young age with many weapons and dedicated himself to Andraste, embracing the training with a single minded intent. Little did his parent know, he would not give up the ideal of an Icenic kingdom without a fight for it.
His Journey's Start
On his 16th birthday, Prasutagus was sent into the world by his parents to better learn of it and experience all it had to offer. He was given his horse, Aurelius, a spear, a shield, and enough coin to get by for a few weeks. He was not to come back until he had experienced all that their lands had to offer.
The experience excited Prasutagus at first. But after a few weeks of trying to find work for food and board, it soon became clear that itinerant work and travel would be difficult, and hardly exciting. Most of the work was cutting wood, carry things, and working with animals.
Eventually, Prasutagus ran into a troupe of men, armed and without uniforms. Thinking they might be mercenaries, Prasutagus approached, "Do you have any work for man good with a spear and able to ride?"
"If you're willing to work for cheap then yes." One of the men said.
"Count me in for now then"
His Last Escapade
Watching Magan behead Tobias was a finale for Prasutagus. As the head of the man who brought him into the mercenary group rolled on the ground, it became apparent that the two remaining people from the monastery raid were the only ones he would trust his life with.
After all he had seen, he did not yet think it time to return home.
His Nemesis
After being brought into the mercenary group, Arn took it upon himself to teach Prasutagus the basics of how the group functioned, sparred with him, and became his friend. The two didn't agree on everything, but after saving each other enough times, the disagreements didn't seem to matter at all.
After the raid on the monastery and waiting on Kara, Arn agreed more and more with Tobias. They should have killed Kara. Magan, and Prasutagus' support of him, were slowing them down, getting themselves killed.
The largest disagreement was when Arn attacked them with Tobias.
Axe swinging, shield catching blows, Prasutagus yelled at Arn, "Why now?! Why side with Tobias? He never looks out for anyone but himself!".
"They would still be alive if we hadn't waited so long!" Arn's grief apparent in his voice.
In the end, Prasutagus planted his axe in Arn's torso, splitting ribs and opening his gut. Arn fell backwards and hit the ground hard, not moving.
Looking around, only himseld, Magan, Kara, and Tobias still lived. Tears in his eyes, Prasutagus moved forward to close Arn's and say a prayer over his dead body. A good friend lost.
