Appearance and Personality:
Brynmor has shoulder-length dark brown hair worn in a lion's mane and black eyes. Tall (6' 3'') and well-muscled he makes for an imposing figure in his well-maintained suit of graphite-grey armor. He wears a black hooded cloak and carries a greatsword strapped across his back, while a broad-bladed shortsword rests in a sheath next to his left hip. He favors well-made but practical clothing, usually sporting darker hues of blues, greens browns and greys as well as heavy roll-top black leather boots.
He is generally calm and composed with an apparently relaxed and indifferent atittude towards his surroundings. Careful observers would notice however that his eyes are darting around every so often in an attempt to take in and assess as much information about his environment as possible. Grim and somewhat cynical he is not the best of company at all times as he tends to opt for a more pessimistic worldview where sooner or later really ugly trouble is going to find you; the only way to cope is to be prepared, alert and utterly ruthless in dealing with it. The above "axiom" feeds his general distrust and paranoia towards the world, which is only partially offset by a strongly inquisitive nature and taste for adventure.
Despite being an ex-soldier and a mercenary he does not revel in combat. Violence is not a goal in itself; it is a means of reaching one's goals when other options do not seem promising. His point is that when you resort to violence you should be prepared to do whatever is necessary to survive regardless of whether it means taking things to extremes. More often than not this entails making sure that everyone who opposes you becomes quite permanently, unquestionably and irrevocably dead. Therefore unless one is willing to kill in a given situation, conflict should be resolved using other, less deadly means (including intimidation).
