Abe was born in Magnimar, into a family of servants to a Chelish merchant. He had a gift for art at a young age, and was often found carving wooden figurines when he was supposed to be working. Since such behavior was frowned upon for a halfling servant, he was a fairly unhappy fellow in those days.
When Abe became an adult, as soon as he was able to, he escaped his master and hopped on a ship for Absalom, where he knew his artistic talent would be much more appreciated. There he enrolled in an art school run by the temple of Shelyn. After training in arms he embarked on his mission to bring art and beauty to the darkest corners of the world. This has landed him in the strange village of Eran's Rest, where he wishes to eventually find work as an art teacher. It was here that he met Professor Lorrimor when he was visiting the town. Lorrimor was taken by Abe's friendly demeanor and stout hear, and asked him to serve as his bodyguard while he was in the town. TRAITS

On the Payroll Abe once served as a bodyguard to Professor Lorrimor for a short period of time. He starts out with 150 gp more. Well-Informed Abe makes it a point to know everyone and to be connected to everything around him. He frequents the best taverns, attends all the right events, and graciously helps everyone who needs it. Because of this he gains a +1 trait bonus on Diplomacy checks to gather information and Knowledge (local) checks. Knowledge (local) is a class skill for him. Charming Blessed with good looks, Abe has come to depend on the fact that others find him attractive. He gains a +1 trait bonus when he uses Bluff or Diplomacy on a character that is (or could be) sexually attracted to you, and a +1 trait bonus to the save DC of any language-dependent spell you cast on such characters or creatures.
