Vancaskerkin questions...

(This is for a Serpent's Skull character ... but I am not allowed by my GM to go read that board.)

We know that Saul Vancaskerkin had two sons: Orik and Verik. Did he father any other children (sons or daughters) that would have his last name?

What Ethnicity was Vancaskerkin? He only lists Common as his language. Does that make him Chelaxian, Taldan, or is he something else?

This won't do much to answer your specific questions, but if you decide to make up your own, I wouldn't worry about a pathfinder product coming out that will invalidate your decisions. Sad link.

But ...

How can the Shattered Star be a "sequel" to Rise of the Runelords without a Vancaskerkin?

I wonder the same thing. Looks like it will be up to you to create one! :-)

Then the player's guide should include a trait for one. :D

Sovereign Court

In my campaign, Orik now lives in Sandpoint and is Belor Hemlock's right hand man.

So, there'll be a Vancaskerin in my Jade Regent AP.

Vancaskerkin has only two sons.

That he knows of.

His ethnicity is Chelaxian—he and his family were among those who went north to Varisia from Cheliax to help conquer the frontier.

So much for that idea. :(

There's always Billy Joe Bob Vancaskerkin...he's not as famous as the others, but he gets the job done.

Extra Vancaskerkins are always a good thing.

If your GM rejects that, maybe Clegg from Second Darkness has some children. Who wouldn't want to play Meg Zincher?

Ohh yes, always has to be a Vancaskerkin. *writes one into my upcoming adventure*
