I noticed that none of the staffs in the PRD seem to have prices including any costly material components or foci for spells such as true seeing or legend lore, yet the rules for crafting staffs indicates that they should. Which is right, the prices or the staff crafting rules?

I just tried the Staff of Vision and Staff of Bolstering and they appear to use the formula for the _price_ whereas the Core book uses the formula for the _cost_. So they cost half as much as similar powered staves in the core book. Neither book appears to use component cost as per the formula.
Am I missing some errata?
