Batman: Knightfall Animated Trilogy

[Aberzombie]

TRAILER

A classic Batman story finally brought to (animated) life on the screen. Huzzah!!!

[Thomas Seitz]

It will be interesting. Still wish we had Kevin Conroy around...but Anson Mount is decent choice.

I was looking at the few reported voice actors on IMDB, and was delighted to see Bruce Boxleitner as Commissioner Gordon and Michael Bando as Bane! Sweet!

Trailer for Part 1

Looks like it's got some stuff from the trilogy trailer they released a few weeks back, plus a bit more. Either way, it looks sweet.

It seems Part I is now available VoD. I’ll probably wait for the physical media release though, which is currently set for September 8th.

Got my 4K edition preordered. Still debating whether I want to rent it on Amazon before then. I’ll have to check on the price.

I’m hearing good things from people who’ve already seen it.

My copy of Part 1 was finally delivered yesterday, and I had a chance to watch it last night. It's pretty damned awesome. They had to condense a lot of stuff leading up to the "breaking of the Bat", but it was well done. The animation was spectacular. It really captured Kelley Jones' art style from the comics. The voice cast was great.

One thing that surprised me, though. They had a special feature Batman Needs Robin, and it only covered the first three. I thought for sure the powers that (unfortunately) be would insist on that little s@#t stain Damien being included.
