There used to be a check box next to the list of PC aliases in a PBP adventure. For example, playing Character G in Adventure Thread P, below the window for making a new post between the Post as Drop down list and the Preview button, there was a check box that said something like "check t make this character the default for this thread". If you checked it while making a post with Character G, each subsequent posting window would set Character G as the Post as selection. If you left it unchecked, then each new Post as drop down list would default to your overall default alias, which could be setting in account settings.
It was nice because if you were posting a different character in a different gameplay threads, you could set that default for that PC.
Now every gameplay thread defaults to my Account default PC and I have to remember to reset the drop down list. While PCs that have posted recently in that thread appear at the top of the list right below the Account default Alias, I keep forgetting to change it before I submit a post. The result is that my default alias gets added to the game Player and Character list.
Is there any way to get back to the way it was?
Also, I have the Paizo extension for Firefox browser, but it recently stopped working. I've tried clearing the cache and cookies but it still doesn't work.
Anyone knowing anything about this, let me know what's going on. Thanks.

The Paizo extension was a 3rd party product developed by Oladon, who hasn't been in the boards for over a year. It stopped working for Chrome-based browsers a while ago, so I'm not surprised that it's no longer working with Firefox.
I believe the checkbox for default character was a feature of the extension.

Interestingly, the extension is still working on Waterfox, a Firefox fork. OTOH, when I try to log into my credit card account with Waterfox I've started getting a message that the browser is unsupported and out of date, so when they finally update to match the latest Firefox build it'll probably bork the extension.
