How to experience the War of Immortals?

Adventures

I wasn't too interested in the Godsrain or War of the Immortals. I wasn't ready to move the time frame forward or interested in Mythic rules.

Now, however, I'm hearing that Revenge of the Runelords (which I am interested in) will use Mythic rules and Hellfire Crisis (which I'm also interested in) sounds like it'll build off of some War of Immortals timeline.

So now I'm trying to backtrack and see how it was presented to players. There doesn't seem to be an AP or adventure about the War of Immortals; what's the context where players get to actually witness Dude's death or the Godsrain?

I'm looking for a way for players to experience the event at the table rather then just read the novel, if that makes sense.

The actual event that kicks off War of Immortals happens "on screen" for players to see in this adventure:

...and also in this Adventure Path...

Spoiler:
Curtain Call (plays a role in the 3rd volume)

Pretty much every adventure and Adventure Path going forward from War of Immortals will have some elements of that meta-event in there somewhere... in some cases in pretty minor ways, and in others in more significant ways. This event's one of the biggest things we've done for the setting, after all, and it was never intended to be a one-time-only thing.

But the two in the spoilers above are where the BIG THING happens on screen for players to see.

Groovy, thanks.

I was getting kind of a "Time of Troubles" vibe where the world is altered in the fiction rather than the table. I appreciate that there are elements that can be played.

The Godsrain is also a second metaplot in season 6 of Pathfinder Society. The inciting event is the catalyst for adventure 6-02: Rain falls on the Mountain of Sea and Sky, and there are 7 other adventures this year where the society deals with the fallout in one way or another (6-03, 6-04, 6-07, 6-09, 6-11, 6-17, and 6-18). Of course the nature of pathfinder society means you can't play these as a linear story with the same characters due to the level range going up and down through the season. The godsrain affected everyone, so some early adventures demanded experienced Pathfinder Agents, and consequences of the Godsrain continue to pop up for groups of novice agents as well.
