Blood of Belcorra and +ve damage

Question.

The party are possibly going to meet the Blood of Belcorra at some point over the next few weeks.

In the description it mentions that BoB has object immunities but it also mentions that it has weakness to positive damage.

Object immunities include being unaffected by healing effects. As far as I'm aware the main source of positive damage is healing.

So in my game I'll rule that a healing spell does cause damage to BoB.

Anyone else have any ideas how to approach?

In a situation like this, where a haunt or hazard or the like is listed as having a specific weakness to a type of damage, they can be damaged by it—this type of damage is removed from the blanket list of object immunities. It's kinda unclear, for sure, but that's the intent... a presentation choice we kinda have to make because otherwise we'd have to really bloat the list of immunities by reprinting all the object immunities content each time. The 2nd paragraph under "Damaging a Hazard" on page 99 of the GM Core mentions that hazards might have exceptions like this.

Seems reasonable. If you want to be more generous... generalize it a bit.

Ghost charges, for instance:

"A ghost charge deals the listed vitality damage and splash damage, though as usual for vitality damage, this damage harms only undead and creatures with void healing."

Disrupt Undead / Vitality Lash has a similar constraint -- RAW, it only affects creatures that are undead or otherwise have negative / void healing.

Vitalizing Runes, likewise, only add positive damage vs. undead targets.

Similar constraints are true for just about everything I spot-checked that are likely to be readily available to characters encountering this haunt.
