Undead Lore is already a standard lore, it's a creature type and a popular one at that. There's plenty of backgrounds that give it too. Bardic and Esoteric lore don't conflict with standard lores so I don't see why this one does. It's an easy fix though, just name the special lore the class gives you something else, like Necromantic lore, it already covers more than standard Undead lore theoretically would.

Wait, is that true? I didn't follow the Battlecry playtest. I'm fairly certain I heard about Commander getting a special lore but I thought it wasn't Warfare...
You can look here: Nexus - commander
And there are feats like Armor Assist that use Warfare Lore too.

Yeah, feats. In that particular case a skill feat, therefore universal. Most of the time it's skill feats, maybe maybe maybe archetype feats which I already feel iffy about but still universal. It feels weird when class features start caring about lores...

I would rather die than go on Demiplane
Warfare Expertise 3rd (Level Feature)
Your knowledge of war and strategy grows and guidesyour decisions in battle. You gain expert proficiency in Warfare Lore. You can use Warfare Lore to Recall Knowledge about most creatures regardless of type, but typically only to determine whether they can be reasoned with, their most notable offensive abilities, and whether one of their saving throws is particularly weak.
The GM can decide to allow additional questions to be answered when Recalling Knowledge with Warfare Lore as appropriate to the situation. In addition, as long as you are observing at least one opponent when initiative is rolled, you can use Warfare Lore for your initiative roll.

They also have tactics that allow you to use Warfare Lore in place of Athletics.

Why? Undead Lore is right there. Inventing another alternative skill that functions in exactly the same way is... strange?
Because the Necromancer's undead lore applies to things the undead lore provided by backgrounds and feats doesn't (although at base, it's just other necromancers)

I see no reason Necromancer couldn't also fall under Undead Lore too. Just because a commander can get extra use out of warfare lore doesn't mean it needs its own super special lore skill either.
