I would like to suggest changing out the 1st level apparition spell given by the Witness of Ancient Battles from Runic Weapon (currently Magic Weapon) to True Strike (soon to be Sure Strike I believe). Unless the divine spell list is going to get it added by default, True Strike is currently not on the divine spell list but Magic Weapon is. I also think True Strike would be a much more worthwhile spell to gain when you could easily have a weapon already full up on runes.

True strike and haste I'd really like to see there. Embodiment of battle really wants to be hasted so you have room to cast.
Ugh, another one?! I thought haste was another spell I thought every spell list had (just like True Strike). The divine spell list is SO disappointing. I really think they need to just straight up revise the spell list altogether. I also noticed invoke spirits is another spell this apparition grants that is already on the divine spell list. I think apparition spells and how they relate to the divine spell list are the biggest gripes I have with this class.

Honestly it doesn't really need true strike and with how the focus spell works I think magic weapon works better so you can use your Apparition slots to buff yourself before using embodiment of battle while true strike kind of kills your action economy with it.
You make a good point about the action economy.

Note that IIRC Runic weapon will have heightened effects, as opposed to our current Magic weapon.

Yeah, I get that but my main concern was with the spell being a waste as a bonus spell as it's already on the divine spell list. MEATSHED's point about the action economy at least convinces me that true strike might not be the best replacement. Honestly, after looking, I can't find a better, but still thematically fitting, option for the 1st level spell for this apparition than Runic Weapon.

You can prepare other divine spells though.
The Animist method of mixed casting makes even Divine spells valuable additions to their Repertoire.

Keep in mind Animist has the "all spells are signature spells" thing the Summoner has going on, so your lvl 1 Runic Weapon will ALLWAYS be available to be cast a level where it gives you fundamental runes on par with Martials.
Now personally i think the lack of property runes still makes the spell a little moot, as if you know you're going to be an EoB Animist you'd focus on buying things for Martials as opposed to scrolls staves or wands, including on level fundamental weapons with property runes but that's just me...
