Cloistered Cleric's Verbal Instructions, Swift Aid, and Order of the Dragon's Aid Allies: How do they work together?

Rules Questions

Quote:
At 3rd level, a cloistered cleric can use the aid another action to assist an ally within 30 feet on a skill or ability check. The ally must be able to hear and understand the cleric’s instructions. For every three class levels beyond 3rd, the cloistered cleric can instruct one additional ally. If all allies are not engaged in the same task, using this ability is a full-round action rather than a standard action.
Quote:
Benefit: As a swift action, you can attempt the aid another action, granting your ally either a +1 bonus on his next attack roll or a +1 bonus to his AC.
Quote:
At 2nd level, whenever an order of the dragon cavalier uses the aid another action to assist one of his allies, the ally receives a +3 bonus to his armor class, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check. At 8th level, and every six levels thereafter, this bonus increases by an additional +1.

From what I gather, someone using all three of these would be able to make a swift action to give a +3 bonus to hit or to AC to someone.

Aid Allies doesn't say it, but I think it replaces the +2 normally with the +3, rather than adding on +3.

think your right about the Aid allies and yeah it should work except since the Aid allies is just a +1 its only a plus 2 however if you drop swift you could take at 9th level cleric give a +3 to all allies for a full round action. or if you aid the same thing one all three then yes swift would make it a swift action to give 3 people the same bonus.

Pretty sure you can only give a +3 at range to a skill or ability check, as that is what the cloistered cleric's ability specifically calls out as being the only checks that benefit from the ability.

You could of course still aid an adjacent ally for +3 to attack or AC as a swift action though, which is pretty excellent in and of itself.

Also, +3 to a skill check as a swift action at range is still a quite powerful ability actually, even if it isn't as good as +3 to attack or AC. Good for those times when somebody really needs that Escape Artist to get out of a grapple, or that Acrobatics through an opponent to get in to flank.

Ah, in my rush I didn't read that part carefully.

I wonder if that could be used to help bolster Init, since that's just a Dex check.

I don't think the abilities combine. Swift Aid doesn't allow you to grant the FULL benefits of an aid another action -- it halves the bonus to +1. I would probably allow a higher-level cavalier to grant half the benefits of aid another (so when your benefit is +4, you can grant +2 as a swift action), but by RAW I don't think the abilities stack at all.

Don't see why they wouldn't that would be like saying the inquistor can't both grant his init via the feat and that person have improved init.
