Exactly as the title says: in your personal opinion, given the time sink that a Play-By-Post campaign is normally, is it a waste of time (on part of the players or the DM) to run a one-shot in a Play-By-Post forum?

One shots are fine doing in PBP format.

Can you give me an example of what you mean by one-shots? Something like, e.g., Feast of Ravenmoor?

One-shots are very cool to run as a PbP. I've played in a few single-adventure sessions on this board, and they were great. Just set expectations that once the adventure is over, the particular PbP is also over (if that is your intention).
