What are AUGRISAURS? Where do they come from, what do they look like?

Running this in a PbP right now. Really enjoy the scenario overall: a nice older-school 'go to these old ruins and explore what's up there' style mission with a great setting and some interesting encounter variety.

I do have a few questions:

* The party exits the Drift directly into atmosphere. Is this common? From other scenarios, and at least how I always envisioned Drift/hyperspace travel I would think that is generally avoided and highly dangerous. If pressed/investigated by my party, my gut is to chalk it up as a strange occurance that could either be due to potential Data Scourge fallout throuwing off the Drift computer's navigational systems, or a potential foreshadowing of the Drift itself acting unusual (considering the pending Drift Crisis).

* Elthel forbids just flying to Talgradur (and for justified reasons) but are those preventing all flight, or just flying there with their starship? this is at the level where PCs could easily have flight-capable vehicles and this is a scenario where such an investment could actually pay off (by helping with a long overland journey). With their ship still docked in Anduwar I'm inclined to say Elthel would let them use non-Drift capable vehicles to head to the ruins, since they still won't be able to flee the planet with any artifacts.

* For area B5, is this section fully underwater too? It doesn't make note of it (unlike B3 and B4), the map shows stairs leading up and down in it (where do those stairs go by the way?), and the map has that whole room colored differently than the flooded sections. Is the intent that is they unseal the doors, the water might drain down the descending stairwell? Since this room has combat breaking out (and with electricity heavily involved) I'm trying to figure out if the old underwater combat rules are expected to be applied.

* C Those giants hit like a truck. Not a question so much as a comment. Also extremely amused that the giants unexpectedly have Fort as their lowest save :)

"Additionally, they can choose to walk or use any alternative modes of transport they possess." Non-drift vehicles are fine.

Answer to part of the other question is in the box text. " Steel stairs lead up to a further two levels of glass spheres, and down to a mangled wreck of steel, glass, and rock that was clearly destroyed in the crash. Signs of storm giant corpses amid this rubble indicates there were once additional spheres below"

A question regarding area A.

The starting positions of the augrisaurs are marked as large/huge but in both tiers they are only large. Is one version supposed to huge, or is the map wrong?

Also there are 4 starting positions marked but there are only 3 enemies.
