I'm relatively new to Pathfinder, and I've been strongly considering respeccing my alchemist for a little bit now, mostly because I found that, being in a 30 ft range of most things for my Seedpods and Point-Blank Shot, almost everything ended up walking up to me and trying to punch me anyway, making it so I'd have some hefty penalties.
The thing is, Pathfinder is huge. Like, massive. And that's rad! That's one of the main appeals. But for a new guy like me it makes trying to figure out builds a heck of an endeavor. I was hoping I might get you guys' help with this, if that's okay?
As the title says, I'm a Vine Leshy Alchemist of the Herbalist archetype. Largely for the flavor; I've made it my goal to work my way through all the Leshy-specific archetypes 'cause I love my lil' grass-pikmin babies.
I've got 18 DEX, 18 WIS, 10 INT, 16 CON, 12 STR and 10 CHA.
I'm level 3 and I've rolled fairly well on my HP, so I have 27 HP
So far, I've figured out that I'd like to get Weapon Finesse + Agile Amulet of Mighty Fists, so I can rely largely on my DEX for things. I was thinking I might like to use the Lashvine alternate racial trait, as well. I'd like to get the Tumor Familiar (Ioun Wyrd) Discovery for the +1 AC, and I'd be taking the favored class bonus for Leshy (Extra AC for Mutagen). Beyond that, I'm a little fuzzy on what I might want to do to improve this.
Any thoughts or brainstorming is appreciated! Thank you for bein' awesome. :D
Also: Does anyone know if there's anything preventing you from using BOTH of your hands as lashvines, given that switching between them is a free action? When not mutagen'd I'd love to still be able to attack twice.

That looks pretty good. There's a spontaneous healing discovery which makes you even harder to kill. I'm not sure ioun wyrd would be a valid tumor familiar though - a construct isn't an 'animal suitable for a familiar'. There are multiple other options which give that +1 NA of course starting with an armadillo.
Staying within 30' when you don't want to be punched is probably a mistake. Point blank shot is a nice bonus but not essential. If you have a climb speed (say from a monkey fish or animal aspect extract) you should be able to climb up to somewhere it's hard to attack you back too.
Not sure about the lashvines.

Thanks for the feedback!! I'll be taking spontaneous healing for sure. As for the familiar, it's something that I discussed with my GM and he was okay with, since my Vine Leshy is a grapevine leshy and the ioun "stones" are little seed bundles!

I like the Lashvine alternative racial feature in combination with the Prehensile Whip equipment trait. Lol.
For the Lashvine Leshy I have drawn up, I started with 5 levels of Reincarnated Druid for Druidic Herbalism, 10 levels of Herbalist Alchemist, and 5 levels of Brewkeeper... named him Toorg-mai... which is "I am Groot" backwards.
With the Fortified Drinker religious trait, and Drunken Brawler feat... he is stupid efficient with potions.
But that doesn't really help you with your current character. I did give Toorg-mai the TWF feat specifically so he could use both hands as whips if he wanted... I like the imagery of it.

You got really creative with it, I like it! I also really like the name Toorg-mai, lol! Sounds like you had a blast with that build. I thought that Natural Attacks weren't iterative, though, and as such didn't require TWF? At least, that's what I keep running into with all the research I'm doing. If that's wrong, please let me know! I don't want to eff up my build because I grossly misunderstood some rules, lol

Holy crap, I totally missed that it's a natural attack. Lol. That sucks.
I seen it gave proficiency in whips and just used it as his arms turned into whips. I suppose it doesn't actually work that way, though. Bummer, I really liked the imagery of little Groot swinging whip-arms!
He still can! Smack the enemies with vines! Make them suffer nature's (your) wrath! Lol
