F+$@ YEAH!

Dark Archive

I love the idea of it. I'm not feeling that first trailer yet.

Still, I'm gonna watch it!

It reminds me of what happens when you let Rick and Morty write Star Trek, but Rick only gets to talk about the tech. :p ;)

I've never watched "Rick and Morty" and really, from what I've read, don't think I'd like it. I really enjoyed the trailer. I hope it lives up it and all the hype.

over all not bad. little shaky with the early episodes but damn episode 10 was awesome.

Respect for Lt. Shaxs
(salute)

The first episode or two requires one to adjust one's expectations, but after that and getting used to the name dropping its quite good. I also find it keeps with the spirit of Star Trek quite well.

I really think it's the most Star Trek of all the new series so far. I actually got tired of the name dropping by the third episode, but I guess they're not writing it just for me. But yeah, that final episode was terrific.

Useless Star Trek trivia: The U.S.S. Titan was designed by a fan and was depicted on a three-fold pull out in the first Riker novel. I love that design and now that it's canon I'm pretty happy.

I did not know that the first episode of "Lower Decks" second season started this week. I'm so glad it's back. Even with the name-dropping and sometimes just plain goofiness, it still feels much more "Star Trek" than either "Discovery" or "Picard". (YMMV)

Didn't know this was a show.

It's very not safe for work, but if you google the life and times of a holodeck janitor you'll find a hilarious essay that should definitely be an episode.

FYI -- At least one of the lower decks crew has already had to clean up a holodeck. They may want to revisit that theme in more detail.

Today's "Lower Decks" started with our heroes playing sort of a Klingon D&D, with J.G. Hertzler voicing Martok as the game master!
