Does Cloud Jump grant immunity / resistance to falling damage?

Rules Discussion

When using Cloud Jump, a fast enough character could potentially jump 60' up. Presumably they then land without being harmed, so does that imply they can also fall 60' without damage if they have time to prepare for the landing?

The skill doesn't say anything about that, so I'd say no.

Nope. If you Jump 60' up and don't land on something, you fall 60' back down and take damage as normal.

Even a standard 8' High Jump inflicts 4 damage if you fall back to the level you started.

Note that there are many leaping abilities that let you land unharmed as long as you fall no further than you leapt upward. These abilities specifically call this out, implying that normally you do take damage.

Catfall's your friend.

Yeah those jumps are usually only if jump into chasm or something and not up and down on same terrain.

Negative. "If the distance you fall is no more than the height of your jump, you take no damage and land upright." Nothing in that text implies it only counts if you're jumping downwards.
