Just wondering, are the AP themed dice sets a thing of the past?
Nope! Our partners at Q-Workshop are still producing AP dice: Link here.

A triangular prism has four sides, and four points, is the thing. That's what a d4 is made from, already.

probably used the wrong words then, a five sided shape. Two sides triangles parallel to each other, then extended out so the die won't land on those two sides.

Yeah I've seen those too.
I houseruled all d3 instead be d4 on my first game beacuse it made no sense, I thought it was a typo until I saw it repeated in other entries.

I, too, would like to know this. I splurged on sets for all my players to use in the final session of Dead Suns and would like to do so again for Fly Free.
Pretty sure it's a dead line... for both Starfinder and Pathfinder, just like the pawns.
Alas.
