What happens when you spirit blast a Simulcrum?

Advice

Seems like Advice over Rules, since Simulcrum hasn't been made for 2e yet. The creator doesn't have any sort of mental connection to the Simulcrum, so they shouldn't be harmed. But it feels like SOMETHING exciting should happen when these two spells meet.

I'm thinking maybe I'll treat the Simulcrum's save as one degree of success worse because it isn't a fully formed soul. But a lot of things might fall into that category, so I dunno if it makes sense.

If a simulacrum has less soul, shouldn't it be hurt less?
It's kinda like a construct too, right?

Or maybe a stunning/slowing/stupefying effect, so not more damage, since its body isn't more damaged, rather the spirit inside get addled.

My take is that they function as construct when it comes to positive and negative energy and can't be healed through conventional methods, but are otherwise basically creatures until you kill them. The one in this AP is "trapped in a personal hell" due to their limited ability to learn new things. If that's a construct it is an awfully sophisticated one, more akin to an Android (which have souls in canon) than a golem.

Or maybe they are more like fiends and angels, forged from soul stuff but not possessing a soul per se? I dunno, those take the spell as normal.

But the details on such things seem sparse and I haven't been able to find a lot of pathfinder specific conversations on the soell.

I like your stunning/slowing idea though. Some variation of that could work well.
