What level does KoE start at?

I'm using the streams to help me learn the game as a GM a bit, and I was wondering what level the characters are. Mostly to help me gauge the difficulty of the encounters they're facing.

From what I understand, they started at level 5 and were at level 6 by the end of season one.

Thomas is correct.

They started at 5 and a few of those early encounters were specifically design to be a bit easy to give them a chance to learn what their characters can do. By a few episodes in, I was giving them moderate and severe encounters on a pretty regular basis.
