Hey there folks,

Just thought I would post up a link in case you missed it on twitch, but the first session of Oblivion Oath, the first Pathfinder Second Edition Actual Play campaign is now up on the Paizo Youtube channel!

You can watch the new video right here, and get all caught up before session 2 airs this Thursday at noon (pacific time).

Enjoy the show everybody!

For people who want to know what happens:

4 adventurers board a boat in the city of Vellumis in Lastwall.
They are: Zel - a Lizardman rogue, Katrina - a dwarf fighter, Quel(?) - a goblin sorcerer and ? - a gnome (i don't remember).

After they unload & reload cargo in Caliphas in Ustalav, they make for Greengold in Kyonin.
While on board, they meet:
-The female human captain
-her dwarven accountant
-a human father
-a boy
-a girl
-an old Lastwall Knight with strange heraldry
-a bard

That takes up the first 44 minutes of the 1:07 video.

In the night, screams wake them and they see a fire has broken out in the back of the "Sleepy Sea Cat".

:
Four elven corpses rise out of their caskets and attack everyone

Once the adventurers have put the situation under control,

:
what appears to be a ghoul rises from another casket and screams for "fresh meat"

To be continued

The Dwarf is named Carina Whisperbane, and she's a Champion rather than a Fighter. The Goblin is named Qundle (and is indeed a Sorcerer), and the Gnome is a Wizard named Mykah Tano.

So does this include the replay commentary? I am still not sure I understand how twitch works.

Liberty's Edge

It includes none of the Twitch Comments from either version. I dunno if that's a tech thing or a choice, but it's true.

You can get the original commentary by watching it on Twitch, of course.

I'm just not sure what the deal is with the commentary. I listened to Oblivion Oath when it aired, but didn't pay that much attention to the chat. And then Dr. Merciless posted a chat where Jason confirmed TAC is gone, and I don't know where it came from or how I can view it.

That was from the replay. And I have no idea how to view that particular chat, either.

Those two screenshots were from the replay chat. How you can view it? Shot answer, you can't.

Long answer: Twitch records streams that were aired and programmed to be recorded (like the Oblivion Oath original stream) and clips that people make from the livestream. This was neither, it's just a thing you can program so that Twitch airs the stream recording, but with a new live chat. A lot of people from Paizo were on this chat and Jason answered to some questions, but since this is not technically a new stream, it doesn't get recorded anywhere.

I mean, this was not a Q&A, I just took advantage of the situation to "casually" ask some things haha. But I joined more than halfway through, I can't say what happened before that. The replay had like, 20 live viewers, and half of this was Paizo staff, so there is a possibility that the rest of the info is lost in the abyss.

I suspect this Saturday's replay may have more viewers in that case ;)
