I am planning a Starfinder game with a twist. The Players are acting in a tv show.

So here's the backstory after the Scoured Star incident the Starfinder's had a major shortage in manpower. So one day Luwazi came up with a idea. They would make a heavily dramatized version of previous adventures to encourage more people to join.

So with that idea the Starfinder Chronicles were born.

Sure, why not.
I'd make sure to make a deep-dive into that idea and have the players each post a small 'review' of the latest show once completed.
I am quite sure that will give both: cause for good laughs and also valuable feedback for your adventures.
Given the usual speed of PbP, I'd aim for short adventures, mostly self-contained, so you can bring them to an actual end regularly.
Then, have the switch of perspective and everyone 'respond' to the latest episone.
