Have people continued with the heroes of the Against the Aeon Throne AP? It is not like these characters are likely to be at the end of their careers.

If your PCs decided to continue adventuring, what did your group decide to to do?

That is the most obvious way forward. :)

I am wondering of other paths were taken. :)

The third book does present a number of options for how to continue the story. They end the adventure (presumably) in good standing with the Stewards so they've got an easy in should they want to join them, there's a collection of potential ways for them continue to muck about in Azlanti space, and then there's always angry time dragons.

I'm not there yet but the plan is to take a break and see what my players want to do. While this adventure is interesting it hasn't really provided much opportunity to pursue any of their individual goals, so unless they show a marked interest in Signal, I'm probably going to focus on that.

Spoiler:
we are currently working our way through a homebrew after finishing AGAINST THE AEON THRONE. I think the next campaign will be ATTACK OF THE SWARM.

long story short, i'm going to pitch the idea to our benevolent DM to bring my AEON THRONE character back as a villain if we do ATTACK.
